Damon should be honest with Elena. But seems to me Damon doesn’t have because Elena has a thing for Damon two. I read the all the books three times and in the books Elena tells Damon that Elena loves Damon. So I say both Stefan and Damon are a good to be with but , a three some. But okay with me read my next comment about vampire diaries next time.Bye, see you soon!

Are you sure?. I live in Poland and, yeah, I can't watch the videos from (:P) videos section (so no webclips for me), but I have no problem with watching the promo on this particular page (that's why I've posted this link, so no one will get confused).

1. In the first trailer of the new chapter we see Elena “I love him”

2. In the second trailer we see the same background behind Elena

3. In the second trailer we see Damon looking up maybe at Elena and looking a little shocked and surprised.

ahhhhhhhh… I can’t wait for next week to come already…I so want to see how this show its going to turn out…I’m currently reading the books and they are really good I love thiem…yay!! thanks for the show and I must also say that I love both Stefan and Damon i can see why it would be hard to chose…they are both awesome…well hope everyone enjoys the new episode next week I know i will…lol…

That's the impression I get, and that's being aware that promos can be quite misleading. (162 Candles, anyone?) Plus, I can see Damon wanting to test Elena and see what she's made of. But we'll see how it ultimately plays out.

Damon is obviously not compelling Elena to go with him. It’s a matter of choosing to, vervain or no vervain. Kevin said they’d be developing a friendship between these characters rather than a romance. Damon is single-minded in his love of Katherine, but he’s not above tweaking his brother’s nose over Elena.
