not surprised waiting to see who else will be there

Wow, that’s alot of money to spend. If a thousand people (though pretty sure there will be more)  that’s like six hundred thousand dollars.   I’m curious, does anyone know where the money goes, who gets what,  that kind of thing?

Part of that money goes to the actors who ask for a lot of money for each Convention they do, and to be honest, who wouldn’t. Part of it goes to the Hotel, they have to pay for the roooms and facilities they will be using, expenses, merchandising, paying the rooms for the actors, their food, plane tickets, and complementary stuff they give, etc. Also they have to pay for advertising and any publication they do, posters, etc. And of course they do have profits ;) I attended one last month and that is a lot of money involved.

Thanks for answering my question.   Too expensive for me though.

I could go the Gold package, if I had someone to stay with, the extra 300 for hotel is way to rich for me. :(  But WOW that would be so much fun.

Remember, they’ll be announcing regular admission ticket prices soon – the gold package isn’t the only option, just the one with the most goodies. Many people attending cons opt stay at less expensive hotels and then come in for the events, so that’s a way to cut costs down as well.

Sure wish there would be an event in Ky, even Cincinnati would be great. Plenty of fans like me, here in Lexington who just can’t travel that far.

I like the Gold one, at 73 just don’t want to stand in a loooong  line for hours. lol  Will have to check out what is cheaper in the area and if Ian is only going to be there on Sunday, would only have to stay one night maybe.  I am really thinking about this…sigh.

You’re welcomed! :) I know it’s expensive!! The only reason I got to go to the one in Barcelona last month is because I won a contest and got the tickets. I’d say it’s definitely worth going but when you have the money, cuz at least the one in Spain, you got some things but a lot others, like pictures, autographs, meeting rooms, etc. you had to pay them as well. So, my suggestion, save money and go next year ;) I’m sure they’ll have more! :)

Hey Everyone the prices are crazy!! Even EyeCon is not that much! I heard they are really trying to fix things as well and at least it is in Atlanta! And they have cheaper tickets! I hear creation was losing money and had to switch the show from Twilight to Vampire diaries because of money issues!! Doesnt sound like a good idea! But everyone has to see for themselves.
