    Loved all the interviews Ian did yesterday, especially the one with TVLine.

    Damon wants the cure for Elena because she wants it.  Stefan wants the cure for Elena in order to fix her so she will be in love with him again.   That is certainly a huge contrast of where the brothers are coming from in regards to Elena.
    Selfless = Damon
    Selfish = Stefan

    Damon does not want the cure, but apparently Stefan does.  If anyone needs a cure for vampirism, it is Stefan.  After 164 years, Stefan simply cannot balance his nature. Poor guy!

    Ian said  “There’s something big in the cards for Damon soon”.  I wonder what that is?

    Also, will the writers ever actually tell Damon and Elena’s love story, or is it just a myth?

    He basically said about each brother’s motivation what has been obvious to many of us for a while. Stefan DOES need the cure. Even if he found balance in his two selves he still can’t accept what he is. That “something big” comment concerns me because when we’re talking about Damon something big never means something good. I guess their version of showing their love story is different from what we expect…separation, longing, fighting, etc…

  • From Beginning To End

    If Damon starts to think it might be better for Elena to not take the cure, (despite the sire bond they both would obviously like to get rid of) I wonder if it’s because of new information we’re going to find out.

    Ah ha, so Damon is 22. I’ve been wondering his age for like 4 years now lol.
