Ian dropped by MTV’s It’s On with Alexa Chung today to talk Vampire Diaries and Damon Salvatore and his return to Lost (as in he’s getting on a plane to Hawaii this Friday with a 36-hour turnaround for filming -- Boone will appear in three episodes). He also name-checked Barnabus Collins of Dark Shadows as the best vampire ever, and discussed how he thinks there’s always room for more vampires on TV, calling Kevin Williamson “a genius,” and praising the show’s ensemble cast.
We’re waiting for the video to post on MTV. We’ll let you know as soon as it’s up and add it to this post.

I loved how Ian said that he didn’t look like Chace Crawford – that it was Chace Crawford the one who looked like HIM since he was older. Heheh.
