Two new chapters of Inside The Vampire Diaries, hosted by Candice Accola, have popped up on the CW’s website, and it’s an extra-special treat to see TVD writers Caroline Dries and Andrew Chambliss in front of the camera, answering fan questions. They touch on their personal favorite characters to write for, how the writing process works on the show, the role the books currently play in regards to the show, the most difficult storylines to break and their favorite line in Season 2 (we laughed!), and whether they were interested in the supernatural before writing for TVD. And Kevin Williamson touches on bringing the supporting characters to the forefront in Season 2, why Katherine was a pleasant surprise, the biggest story challenge of the season, his favorite character to write for, which TVD character has already found true love, whether we’ll ever meet Caroline’s dad, will creatures other than vampires, werewolves, and witches make an appearance in Mystic Falls, and what’s in store as we head into Season 3.
