Ugh, why can’t people just type out their posts instead of posting it on twitter? It is difficult to engage in discussion especially since I don’t have a twitter account.

I always had a soft spot for Tyler. He was depicted in the worst way and even got blamed & villifed for other character’s bad behavior. I know Tyler has some negative traits but that makes him a complex & intriguing character.
He grew up in a messed-up household and his parents are twisted jerks. He was raised in a dysfunctional way. They implied that his father was abusive. His aggressiveness and uber-machoness is partially attributed to his werewolf curse.

Jeremy stole Vicki from him. That was not right, no matter what the circumstances were. It is never right to cheat or steal. Vicki could have tried to discuss her feelings and their issues. If they couldn’t work it out, they could have broken up in a decent manner. She already had slept with Jeremy, stands by while Jeremy provokes Tyler, lets Tyler be painted as the bad guy, and then pathetically runs off to Jeremy ( who was too young for her, her brother’s ex’s little bro, and who was just as self-destructive as she was). Then she and Jeremy never get criticized or called out for their illicit trashy affair. I never thought she and Jeremy had chemistry. It was a bad triangle and affair in every way. What is sick, is how half of the fandom just demonized Tyler while Jeremy & Vicki got unfounded pity because they are pathetic & manipulative.

Vicki was using him, lying, and betraying him with a freshman ( ew) who happen to be his worst rival. If you watch the episodes closely, you will see Jeremy started most of their fights. Then when self-righteous, confrontational, and immoral Jeremy gets beaten up by tougher Tyler, he gets labeled as the victim and Tyler gets labeled as the bully. Jeremy severely wronged Tyler and never showed any remorse. His affair with Vicki never gets acknowleged for what it was.

I hope they add layers and depth to Tyler. He is an interesting character with a lot potential. I hope they explore his likable side as well as his werewolf side. I hope he falls a girl who doesn’t betray him.
