Seventeen Magazine has a lighthearted Q&A with Candice Accola where she talks about the usual – living and working in Atlanta, hanging with the cast, and why those scripts are on lockdown:
17: Are you on the edge of your seat every time you get a new script?
CA: We actually got in trouble, [but] we’re all blaming Nina [Dobrev] who plays Elena. Nina took the script from the hair and makeup trailer because we’ve been dying to know what will happen next. And then she got caught, and so now, they have scripts on lockdown, and they won’t tell us any information!
And this afternoon had two radio interviews with Vampire Diaries cast members:
The first was BuzzWorthy’s interview with Michael Trevino who, according to many of you on Twitter, had a way better radio voice than the guy interviewing him. (Radio can’t have him, he’s on our TV.) Ends up Michael has also read the books (the first four), hints that perhaps there’s a reason why Tyler is such a jerk and bully (and maybe it has something to do with his parents), and that we might be seeing a different side of Tyler in upcoming episodes (especially when it comes to Vicki). He also played coy on the Lockwood family in general and referred to Mystic Falls’ history having a very real impact on the newest generation. We’re also pretty sure he dropped a super-vague hint about a particular character’s appearance later on down the road. You can listen to the entire interview (half hour) over at BuzzWorthy.
And on Stardish Radio, Jasmine Guy shed a little more light on her upcoming role as Grams, Bonnie’s witchy (and, uh, drunk?) grandmother, whom she apparently has the honor of naming and was soliciting suggestions (which included the Salem-inspired Tituba and Katerina’s suggestion of Sadie). She also revealed the name of Bonnie’s great-great-great-great grandmother (hover to see), Birdy Mae, and said she looks forward to seeing more of not only the race dynamics of the show’s Civil War-era flashbacks, but also the way vampires and witches interact, and what the “rules” will be for the show’s witches. Listen to the interview over at Stardish.
And finally, there’s an itty bitty Paul video snippet over at People.com where he talks about the best thing about growing up in New Jersey.

Was finally able to listen to the Michael Trevino interview. He gave us some nice insight to Tyler and what’s coming up.
And the interview with Jasmine Guy was awesome. It was hilarious with the whole “Tituba” thing LOL killerchopsticks(Quote)

Lol poor M. T., he did his best with that interview. I would like to suggest that he has already finished the series, but w/e. It is comforting, somehow, to know that he’s read them. :D The whole “winking at the listeners who read the books” part was great. Tara(Quote)

Not gonna lie – I wanted to reach through my speakers and throttle that interviewer. He was PAINFUL. Luckily MT had more than enough charisma to compensate for the other guy. I couldn’t decide if he (the interviewer) was just unprepared or nervous. Vee(Quote)

Did anybody else ever read that book “Tituba of Salem Village” during childhood?
I actually really like and it’s sorta neat to think Bonnie Bennet is descended from her. I think the historic Tituba actually did have a daughter named Violet and no record show what became of her in the end. Jordan Jenkins(Quote)
