Katerina Graham as Bonnie BennettThere’s a Q&A with Katerina Graham over on the New York Post’s PopWrap website, in which she delves into the subject of Bonnie Bennett and her hopes for the character in the future.

PW: How much of Bonnie’s path to becoming a witch did you know about from day one?
Katerina: Very little. No one told me Bonnie was going to become a witch. You could tell from the pilot that this character was going to evolve, but she could have gone in a totally different direction — I mean, she could have become a vampire!

Reading Eagle Newspaper has an article featuring Kevin Williamson talking about the Vampire Diaries, and also touching on the subject of Scream 4.

“I would say that the first six episodes were about introducing Elena and Stefan, and building that epic love story, and introducing Damon and where he fits between them as the conflict in that epic love,” Williamson said. “Now, the next six episodes, we’re expanding things a little bit, and we’ll see other relationships on the show, and we’ll see more of Matt (Zach Roerig) and Caroline (Candice Accola), and we’ll learn more about how and why Mr. Saltzman is in Mystic Falls.”

In a bit of fun news, Stefan Salvatore has made it onto Starpulse’s Hottest Vampires list, where he’s featured amongst some fine examples of vampires from the small and large screen.

Finally, the Vampire Diaries will be shown in the United Arab Emirates. We don’t have a date yet beyond ‘soon’, but we can tell you that it will be aired on MBC Action. Thanks to @Rizzle0 for the heads up!
