It is the first season though, which is the one thing that gives me hope. Whether the Jenna & Alaric hook up becomes serious, it doesn’t mean it’s destined to stay that way since nothing is really set in stone. Characters we lease expect come together sometime lol.

With the way TVD has been doing on the CW, I suspect a fair number of seasons–and hence plenty of chances for Meredith to come along. And possibly a Meredith/Alaric to hook up on screen ;)

It’s something I’d like to see because they mostly kept their relationship on the low so much in the books (due to the student-teacher thing more likely). It’d be cool to see some intimate scenes of them together on screen.

Considering it's their highest rated show at the moment, I'm pretty happy. The other show I watch–Dollhouse isn't so much.

I know some fans and anti-fans were happy or sad (depending on the side the people were on ;) ) about the possible Damon/Bonnie thing not happening (from a mega buzz thing earlier?? because they may not follow the hints in the books. But even that's not technically confirmed. If anything, I think it would be way too early anyway even if they did it. Especially since we need to get Damon to get over Katherine and more to the Damon/Elena development most importantly). But anything can happen. For all we know, Damon or Bonnie may end up with original TV only characters lol. Or no one at all :(

i was just thinking the same thing. i noticed she wasnt in any of the stills for the next 2 episodes coming up, nor is she in the synopses.

I just hope someone dies. Not because I dislike anyone on the show (I like pretty much everyone), but because it’s just so “WHAAAAA???” when a major character dies. It’s so fun and shocking.
