Big thanks to Kidult writer Lee Hernandez for giving us the heads up on his chat with Michael Trevino. If you’ve somehow managed to avoid spoilers concerning Tyler, here’s your warning that this puts those spoilers front and center (for both the book and the TV series). For those who don’t mind knowing, let the speculation on the hows, whens, and whys take over the comments.
What’s coming up for your character, Tyler Lockwood, in this season’s remaining episodes?
Tyler is going to evolve. In the beginning of the season he was ruthless and mean to everybody, and now he’s kind of questioning himself. He’s at the stage where he doesn’t know what his issue is, so he’s his own worst enemy—he reacts violently, but then questions himself right after.
Read the entire interview at Kidult.
And if you’ve been wondering about Tyler’s relative absence during “the tomb chapter,” BuddyTV has some interesting spec about what Tyler’s role may be as we head towards Season One’s end. (Again: spoilers for the books and TV series.)
