HA! Yeah, I’m really loving seeing this side of Elena. It’s what I KNOW. And Stefan hypocrisy and always-assuming-the-worst-of-Damon FTW!

I agree, I love Elena is finally getting her edge, but I disagree with the Stefan statement about Damon. Last episode he continually said that he believes Damon still has a soul and humanity, and he said he wanted to help Damon bring that side out. That was, of course, ended once he saw Damo brutually murder Mr. Tanner. I completely understand Stefan’s perspective after what Damon has done. Now don’t get me wrong, next to Meredith Damon was my favorite character in the book, and I think he’s freaking hilarious. However, in the show I find him way worse and more evil than in the books (like with Vicki-that was all Katherine). I don’t condone killing, and I thought that scene with Mr. Tanner almost made me stop liking him. (Ian Somerholder is doing a fantastic job of portraying him though).

This scene is good. Stefan of course is in denial, delaying the inevitable. He does need to be fair and give Elena a real choice in making the decision of being with him. But I understand (obviously) why he’s afraid. He’s just being a typical man… And yes! Happy Elena let him know how she feels about the secrets etc… Damon-Love to hate him. I just want to smack him!! Which only means Ian is doing a great job portraying Damon :)
