Look everyone is gathered around and supporting Elena, but who is reaching out for Bonnie. This girl need her friends support in a big way. Seems like Bonnie is always the one left out until her witchie skills are needed. Not hard to see that leaving her alone with Silas in her ear will cause major problems for the gang.

That’s the thing that has always bothered me. ALL the vampires and even the originals act all big and bad which of course they are. BUT when they’re in serious trouble they always run and demand for Bonnie to “fix it”. They don’t ask her, they just expect it. I’ll give Caroline credit. When Bonnie’s mom was having trouble it was Caroline who was their for her friend and her mother. Bonnie has lost her Gram’s, when she died that was a huge loss for Bonnie and she had to go through it alone. Now Bonnie is walking around with Sila’s on her back. I hope that instead of thinking how can Bonnie help Elena that some or one of them steps up and says lets help Bonnie. After all poor Bonnie also loved Jeremy too.

Damon and Stefan were both newly turned baby vampires. Stefan’s reckless behavior was going to get them both killed. Damon was trying to warn Stefan and was begging Stefan to stop. Stefan continued to be reckless. As far as Damon was concerned, Stefan was being a complete “prick” by his actions and was leading them both towards certain death. It wasn’t about helping or saving Stefan at the time. Damon had no idea why Stefan was behaving so poorly, other than the fact he chose to do so and was reveling in his new found power. Damon was newly turned too. Stefan’s behavior forced Damon to leave. It wasn’t until 1912, which was 48 years later, that both brothers realized just how bad Stefan’s blood issues truly were. Stefan ran away, Damon did not follow him, which Damon admitted he regretted.

It is a little hard to convince me that Elena is the love of Stefan’s life. Stefan did not choose Elena’s life first, which is what resulted in her human death. Stefan did not choose to return to Elena’s open arms once Klaus’ compulsion was lifted. Instead Stefan chose revenge against Klaus for a 3 month road trip and used Elena as a tool to get that revenge and he terrorized her while doing it. Stefan broke up with Elena not the other way around. It is a little hard for me to feel sorry for Stefan where Elena is concerned, but I do understand his anger and hurt after learning about Damon and Elena’s heated sex.

Damon is in love with Elena too, not to mention he has proven himself to be more than worthy of her. He has just as much right to pursue Elena as Stefan did. Stefan and Elena had ended their relationship when Damon and Elena had sex. There is no doubt in my mind the extent of Damon’s love for Elena. As a Damon fan, Elena is going to have to prove to me she is in love with Damon and that she is worthy of his love.

How do you choose freely when your sired? There is nothing free about her being with Damon. That’s Stefan’s problem, and mine. Stefan told Damon when the SB was over he had no problem with what ever they wanted to do.

Sorry Charlotte, but your facts are deniable. There are just so many ways to go back and forth on this, but obviously we will never agree on any of it. At least Damon and Stefan have long since worked it out, although I’m not sure Stefan’s blood issues have been completely resolved.

Stefan needs a few sessions, maybe more, with a vampire psychologist. Human blood is a needed substance for a vampire. That is how they sustain themselves. Animal blood is just a substitute and does not give a vampire the same nourishment, otherwise Stefan would not be so weak when he is on it. I never understood why Stefan, as a vampire, was written to be crippled by his blood intake, especially since blood is so necessary to a vampire’s well being. Human blood to a vampire is the same as a human’s need for food and water. Human blood to a vampire is not a drug, it is a necessity to live. Therefore, that still doesn’t explain why Stefan cannot control himself on human blood, unless there is a mental problem and too much guilt in relation to how he transitioned into a vampire in the first place, which was on his father’s blood who died at Stefan’s hand. I have concluded that Stefan needs professional help from a vampire psychologist. Damon needs to call in outside help because family may not be enough to solve this one, that is if it is still an issue for Stefan after 146 years of being a vampire.

Considering the show is based on a love triangle between the three main characters (Damon, Elena and Stefan), I knew things were going to be complicated and a bit messy. My problem has been that the writers left Stefan and Elena as a couple too long. It became boring. I’m glad they have switched that part of the story up a bit along with the other changes like making Elena a vampire. The sire bond, I could take it or leave it. I’m not sure yet why that was even written into the story.

I think Stefan did cross the line on the island by letting Damon think Elena still wanted the cure for herself. Jmo

Hmmmm! While Stefan was trying to help Damon there was a conversation about the cure so you may be right. Stefan should have told Damon that because there was only one dose, Elena no longer wanted it for herself. Damon was still under the impression Elena wanted the cure. I’m a little conflicted because so much was happening at once, but you’re right Stefan may have crossed the line, but I’d like to think it was not a deliberate act on his part. ARGH!

You could tell he almost told him and changed his mind. It was definitely deliberate.

I think he did it because he realized (as Elena told him earlier) it wasn’t the sire bond keeping them apart, so he had to find a new way to win her back. What better way than by being her hero? Damon made it hard to resist by stepping aside like he did. But he also put her at risk with that decision because he had no idea what was down there and two Salvatores are always better than one.

In the end it didn’t matter, but Stefan didn’t know that at the time.

Stefan was constantly asking for Damon’s help with Elena even though he knew how much Damon loved Elena. If anyone was pushing Damon and Elena towards each other, it was Stefan.

I agree pretty unselfish of Stefan. I think he really wanted her to explore her feelings so when she made the choice it would be something he could believe in.

Stefan has definitely had doubts and insecurities regarding Elena’s feelings for Damon for a very long time, which have definitely proven to be warranted. Stefan pushing Elena and Damon together and depending on Damon so much for help has certainly come around and bit Stefan in the ass. I don’t think Stefan or Damon will ever feel secure in a relationship with Elena. She will continue to hold on to them both. That is why there is a love triangle.

I think where going to find out Lexi is another Damon hit and run. Flashbacks only flesh out a character, and we really know almost nothing about Damon’s 146 years. Only the 1912 flash, Sage, and Charlotte.

Stefan blamed Damon in 4×08. He was whining to Lexi about having to apologize and asked her if he really had to tell Damon that his becoming a Ripper wasn’t Damon’s fault.

It was pretty funny, actually.

The triangle will keep on going and switching with so much time going on season 5 and possibly 6

She was already starting to burn. It happens pretty quick, so it’s possible she couldn’t have saved herself. All we know for sure is the only action she took was to look to Damon in panic.
