Yes, doom and gloom….What an intensly dark episode the last one was… was left sitting there just going…wow…just…wow….I really loved it in its awful darkness, some parts hard to take in for me almost…liked it partly also because (like others have said) it had a feel of season one or seson two, ,,,It was beautifully written and acted…… what you go through when a loved one dies… couldnt even watch the burning scene without holding my hands partly before my eyes….to do a thing like that, to burn everything, She must have not been able to take a n y m o r e….My heart ached like I dont even know how to…..Poor Elena. Woke up yesterday thinking about next episode, and about what will happen with her grivingprocess now, Thinking, that girl really need a BIG hug not letting go for hours….Hoping that everyone rememers not to be to harsh on her for whatever she does with her emotions off…what a shitty situation…will she be able to recieve/take in some love at all? But I imagine the relief for Elena not feeling at this point must be …well. The scene when Elena shuts her emotions off, I loved the tenderness and connection between Damon and Elena in that moment, how he just quietly watched her .how they looked into eatchothers eyes, how she did connect with him before she turned it off….. Him not leaving her eyes as it happend…standing by her…made me feel calm in a strange way….Made me think of the ” i will never leave you” It really showed their deep connetion.. did anyone notice how she felt calmer already as he held his arms around her…could his love not have carried her through this in some way without shutting off….I have been going back and forth what I think about it, if it was the right thing to do or not… she was really begging, and in that moment Im sure she was almost seasing to excist from pain…she was begging for it to stop…So… I think at the moment Im felling ok about it. Also about something radical happening at this point for other resons…. Cause i don´t know how to feel about season four sofar, the mind**** sirebond have been exhausting i so many ways…, Im not ok with that. So i think I liked how this episode was almost cleansing in it´s darkness, gives me hope for something new, Equally divided into worried, excited and curious. Laughed at the seriously funny promo for next ep, loving the idea and possibilitys for Elena to express herself without worrying about others…will be fun and interesting…, …not sure if I will be able to not choke on the fun stuff though, have been feeling this ever since the sirebond, there are so many toxic layers that has been building up this season due to that,or mostly that, in terms of what is real and not…its hard to follow what is actually going on inside of the charachters…Im so busy trying to understand i get a bit tense…maybe more than a bit ha ha…Hoping for some down to earth basic simple love and affection and talking and bonding coming these characters way before seasons end… I need that stuff, then I can deal with whatever fuckery comes their way…( and mine ha ha) and maybee its been not only the sirebond storyline but also the lack of insight/commuunication between characters thats been hard to deal with this season for me. they have to touch ground inbetweeen ,and this seson have been lacking in that i think..–everything (emotionwise) has been really mxed up in the same episodes. No breathing pauses ;) Great to know where some of you commenters have gone to, have been missing some of the indepth discussions and the fun recently. noticing that some people that are usually here with amazing comments and analysis had gone “missing”…was scrolling the recent reaction post commnets feeling a bit sad about that..Was checking this commentsection wondering about it and where to find you…So, here you were great !. have been reading on this site since fall, but rarely comments myself due to having a neuroIgical disorder, takes a lot of energy to write for me unfortunately. I kinda wish it is Caroline. We have yet to see Elena confront miss “can’t keep my mouth shut” about telling Stefan that she and Damon slept together.
