Official synopsis for Klaus (EP219)

The CW has revealed the title and synopsis for the episode Vampire Diaries fans have been waiting all season for – Klaus (EP219) airs Thursday, April 21st. And guess what? Flashbacks! Highlight for spoilers:

KLAUS (GUEST STAR JOSEPH MORGAN, “BEN HUR”) IS REVEALED — Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) are furious when they discover that Elena (Nina Dobrev) has defied them both to make a new ally and take control of the plan to out-maneuver Klaus (Morgan). Disagreement over how to protect Elena leads to growing tension between the Salvatore brothers. Meanwhile, Stefan has his hands full trying to keep a confused and frightened Jenna (Sara Canning) safe. Flashbacks to 1491 reveal Katherine’s (Nina Dobrev) introduction to Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and Klaus, along with the origin of the moonstone curse. Elena learns shocking new information about Klaus’ motives. Matt Davis also stars.

Joshua Butler directed the episode written by Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec.

yeah, agreed. She acts like she has never seen action movies or adventure one. I understand that it’s frightening sutuation but c’mon they should stop panicking and quarreling. Quarrels among your own team is the best gift for enemy. Their acting exactly as Klaus expects them to act.

I really hope that Damon & Stefan do not start fighting again because I like that they have been somewhat getting along. Even if it is regarding protecting the girl they both love I want them to remain civilized towards each other.

Poor Jenna. Well she wanted the truth. LOL Ok, Elena seriously? You would think she’d have a little more sense then to think she could handle this. Damon and Stefan may know a little more then her, what with them being Vampires. LOL

I wonder what Elena’s plan is? And what are Klaus’s true motives? And Elena and the Salvatore brothers need to stop and think before they act! I wonder if Klaus will show up in present-day Mystic Falls? Hee! One more week!

I can’t believe there is only 6 more eps, I am hoping they are already working on the DVD so won’t have to wait so long for it to come out. Glad they don’t wear out like VHS tapes used to, because I have watched season one so many times. lol

BTW, Ian needs help in a poll, he is getting beat by Nathan from Castle.

OK- More TVD blessings…..this synopsis just freaking MADE MY DAY! Not because Elena is going to cause problems for the boys (anyone want to bet her ally is none other than Kat?) But the reason behind the moonstone curse is FINALLY going to be revealed! THANK GOD! Also, we will hopefully find out WHY it is so all important for Klaus to break the curse!!!! (I have a HUGE grin on my face right now!) You all can pooh-pooh me all you want, but the curse as presented makes no sense to date. It has driven me nuts all season why in the world a being as powerful as Klaus would work so hard to break a curse this long when all it does to vampires is keeps them from walking in the sun! Any of the “generations” of witches he has enslaved over the centuries would surely have been able to fix this problem for him in less than five minutes!!!!!!!!! We get to take a very long awaited journey to 1491 England:) Welcome back (if you haven’t graced my TV screen before this episode) to Elijah…….and what the heck has Jenna so scared? Has she finally learned the truth about all the supernatural goings on in the small town of Mystic Falls? Stefan/Damon- these guys must stay working together….united they can succeed (I hope), divided they will surely fail……and Elena’s life is on the line….and something tells me Klaus doesn’t expect to loose this game once it begins!

Now I can’t wait for 4/21- this is just positively cruel…..but I love it!

Ha ha! I totally understand how you feel. The curse makes no sense! But the writers made it that way for a reason. So, we’re probably going to find out what the curse is really about in this episode. And this is a totally out there wackadoo theory, but wouldn’t it be cool of we find out that Klaus is like Dracula. Part vampire and part wolf. Hee! I would just die!

Hey candygirl9890- I’ve been posting that FOREVER, about Klaus being both vamp & wolf, and nobody really believes me…..it would make sense, but you never know….these writers are CRAFTY, they could come up with something that makes me go WTF just happened:)

Yes! Julie and Kevin wrote this one! Those are the best…the last ep. The wrote was 2×13 “Daddy Issues” which was one of my favorites all season. Fingers crossed!

Everyone needs to give Elena a break, coming from someone who has lost her entire family I understand the desperate need she feels to protect those she cares for even if she has to go behind their backs to do it.

Sorry! I didn’t mean to steal your theory! But yeah, I totally agree that the writers would through in a twist that totally blows our mind. How awesome would that be?! Stefan and Damon are not only up against the Original Vampire, but they’re also up against the Original wolf. And did you see the behind the scenes photo of Katherine in a flashback in Bulgaria when she finds out that her family has been murdered? There’s a photo of Katherine kneeling down next to a wolf. A freaking big wolf. And it was white too. Maybe that was Klaus.

Why is everyone hating on Elena? She’s trying to save the people whom she loves. Wouldn’t you do the same? Or are we all selfish, self-absorbed beings? Geez, give her a break. And it’s not like she ASKS for Damon and Stefan to fight over her. She’s being selfless and brave, which is what I admire most about her.

I agree. Elena is only 17 years old. She just found out about vampires a year ago. And now the oldest and most powerful vampire of all time is coming after her. People, have a little sympathy. I’d screw up too. And how could she not want to take matters into her own hands. Stefan and Damon have been screwing things up all season.
