I think there’s a mistake, Elena’s no mean girl, don’t they mean Caroline? And why is Rebekah sharing deep family secrets to the MF gang? Did Klaus do something to make her angry?

after reading this synopsis, makes me think that rebekah is gonna be damon’s new houseguest

Kind of sounds like maybe instead of looking for Stefan, Damon has either found him or at least has knowledge already of where he is. Its unlikely they would BOTH surprised by an unlikely ally while being separated, unless they will be each having their own ally to work with.

Anyone else notice that Klaus hasn’t really been mentioned much in the last few episode synopsis after episode 5, apart from being mentioned in passing in regards to another characters storyline. Maybe something big goes down in episode 5 that kind of takes him out of the picture for awhile?

Erm, Elena? mean girl…power struggle? Wait, WHAT? I know she’s changed, but I didn’t think like that. Unless…UNLESS. She gets turned in tomorrow’s ep? Oh, but I don’t want that to happen this soon :( and Where the F is Klaus? What is he doing? If Rebekah is in MF, where is Stefan, huh? And What’s happened with Damon? He seems disconnected and the only one still working on Stefan…and where are Caroline, Jer, and Bonnie? Geez. SO. MANY. Questions.

So, Elena becomes a vampire? At least this was my first thought reading the power struggle…
Wow, and this brings me to another thought. I don’t think Nina would play 2 vampires, wouldn’t she? I don’t even want to write down what I’m thinking right now….Wow.

No, Elena becoming a vamp is a season finale type episode to keep you coming back the next season. 

Oh man…this sorta makes it sound like Stefan is locked up in the boarding house cellar, and Damon is trying to rein him in. No! Not yet! This was supposed to be a season long issue! Ugh. Speculation is torturous.

Reading the synopses is always interesting because it leads to so much speculation, from both what they’re saying and what they’re NOT saying.

–some ppl have wondered if Elena will become a vampire. Interesting thought! The writers did say this upcoming episode (5) will be “game-changing,” but then, they always say that… there are so many ways to change the game. Personally, I find it unlikely that Elena would become a vampire at this point in the series, but at the same time it would be unexpected and her “mean girl” behavior does seem a bit odd, at least for her.

–I’m actually wondering if Tyler becomes a hybrid at some point, since on synopsis mentioned he was “enjoying the recent complications” or something like that. I can’t remember the exact wording off the top of my head.

–I’m really really curious about where Klaus goes for several episodes, and why he apparently stops relentlessly pursuing Elena. These developments lead me to think one of three things has happened: 1) Elena has become a vampire (unlikely), 2) Klaus learns that her being alive isn’t what’s keeping him from making hybrids and therefore he stops trying to kill her OR he learns that he needs her alive for some reason, or 3) he is apprehended by the hunter who is chasing him. Also, why is Bex hanging around? Is she homeless w/o Klaus, or does she have her own agenda?

–I wonder what Damon’s reckless approach to helping Stefan is? Also, does this mean Stefan is in Mystic Falls again? Where is he staying? I’m guessing his emotions are still turned off, thanks to Klaus compulsion or something?

Elena and Rebekah engage in a mean girl power struggle?  That is weird and makes absolutely no sense…unless Elena is a ……vampire. Nah!  Surely the writers would not have done that …or would they?

Damon tries a reckless new approach to make a breakthrough with Stefan?  Is Stefan catatonic due to his attack on Elena? Who is the unexpected ally? Maybe Rebekah…

I wonder what Alaric’s discovery is that requires it to be deciphered. That sounds intriguing.

It would be kinda crazy to see a thousand-year-old vampire exchanging insults with Elena about each other’s outfits and boyfriends as they vie to be Queen Bee of Mystic Falls High.

I think that Damon has somehow managed to contain Stefan in the same cell Caroline was in under the police station….could be the unlikely ally was Bill Forbes? Damon thought that his “will power” strategy was interesting. Or, like some of you have speculated, finally someone grew some sense and pulled the damn dagger out of Elijah:)

I’m wondering what it is that Ric has discovered and why it needs to be deciphered. At first I thought it was a book on the history of the Originals, if was written in their native language, it would explain why he needs help with it…..which leads me to….

Elena and Rebekah- mean girl showdown? Wierd. Why would Rebekah, the original sister, be interested in a mean girl showdown with Elena? But whatever, it looks like Elena wins, because it then becomes “story time with Rebekah”……..I have been waiting for back story on the Original Family FOREVER!!!!!!! I don’t particularly care who Rebekah is telling the story to, as long  as I get to hear it:)

Just voted for Damon, but Castiel from Supernatural is ahead.   Hopefully the TVD fandom will rally for Damon and the show.   :)
