Official Synopsis for The Killer (EP405)

The CW has released the synopsis for The Vampire Diaries: The Killer (EP405), airing Thursday, November 8th, 8/7c. Highlight for spoilers:

THE HUNTER’S MARK — Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Klaus (Joseph Morgan) form an uneasy alliance to try and contain the danger that Connor (guest star Todd Williams) has unleashed on the town. When Connor takes Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen), Matt (Zach Roerig) and April (guest star Grace Phipps) hostage at the Grill, Stefan and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) have a serious disagreement about the best course of action, and Elena (Nina Dobrev) is again caught between the two brothers. The situation quickly turns violent when Klaus sends one of his hybrids, Dean (guest star Blake Hood, “The Young and the Restless”) to stand up to Connor. Caroline (Candice Accola) is surprised to find Hayley (guest star Phoebe Tonkin) at the Lockwood mansion. Meanwhile, Professor Shane (guest star David Alpay) works with Bonnie (Kat Graham) to help her get past her fear and guilt.

The episode was written by Michael Narducci and directed by Chris Grismer.

Honestly I like Klaus w Stefan too. There’s this weird friendship and it’s not just onesided like Stefan thinks.

Stefan and Klaus becoming allies. Klaus is making his rounds. First he’s allies w Damon in ep 3 now he’s picked Stefan back up in ep 5. LOL. They all just need one big group hug and let bygones be bygones. Just kidding.

It’s not surprising that the brothers disagree on what to do. I’m going to take a stab in the dark here and say Elena has some “brilliant” plan that Stefan wants to back her on but Damon thinks is ridiculous. You know the usual. It sound like before they can agree Klaus cuts thru the crap and takes charge. I love that about him. :) Hmmm no we know what his hybrid army is really for.

Love how Damon, Stefan and Klaus are becoming allies… against this new vampire hunter threat. Enemies becoming allies is always good storytelling. From the synopsis it sounds like Connor has the “edge” in this stand off …. the guy has hostages! Come on Jeremy! You are on the inside….You can take this guy down!

Yes I definitely agree, I think Stefan tries to deny any feelings of friendship he has for Klaus after everything that Klaus did to him and everyone else–but deep down he has a soft spot for him (hence the look on his face in 3×21 when he stopped his heart). Its not a typical friendship but I am really hoping that it will get explored more this season especially since I am pretty sure D/E will happen this season, I am hoping Klefan is a big part of Stefan’s storyline.

Yep, that look on his face said it all. Both brothers really need to have something else outside of keeping Elena in line. If they don’t it’s a poor use of their characters.

100% agree, no matter who is with Elena there should be more to BOTH brothers’ storylines apart from just loving Elena, helping Elena, hanging out with Elena–there’s so much more to both brothers than just their love for Elena that has yet to be really explored.

Yep, Elena is a beautiful young smart girl in her last highschool year, she has a loving brother, absolutely loyal girlfriends, one superstrong and perfectly looking boyfriend who would give his right arm for her freedom of choice and her free will who loves her undyingly, another spectacularly handsome and evenly strong want to be boyfriend who has sacrified his own life for the sake of hers, another boyfriend who patiently listens to her “I don´t know who to choose-problems” whenever she is torn between the two above described men, and obviously enough money to live her life. So apart from her family drama and her eating disorders I´d love to have her problems… ;)
