Why is Damon intrigued? Like I said before, I hope he’s not intrigued in THAT way. Also, I wonder what the significance of Jamie is? Haven’t heard a single thing about him. Still nothing about Caroline…
And is it pathetic that every time I see the words “unexpected ally” I automatically think ELIJAH! and start hoping it’s him? He has been gone way way too long.

  • Anonymous

That’s because episode 11, is all about Caroline, it is her B-Day so they will give her a break this episode.

  • Chelsey

Sounds exciting.  Wonder why Bonnie’s mom left her for 15 years.  Damon is intrigued with Dr Fell.  Wonder if Alaric and Damon will be competing for the affection of her.  Klaus negotiating with Stefan, hmm,  Klaus normally just takes.  This is going to be fun.  Seeing Klaus vulnerable.

  • Anonymous

I’m actually wondering if Caroline’s Dad will come into play with the whole “Tyler regaining his free will” thing. I remember that Bill Forbes conditioned himself to resist compulsion…….I wonder if that could work on a sired hybrid? Just a guess.

I wonder what Bonnie’s mom has to tell Bonnie about the past…does she have ties to Klaus? Why is Bonnie dreaming about the coffins? I’m a little concerned about this……we have the Original Witches amulet in play….we know that the Original Witch is on the “other side” trying to break through…why? Is she sending messages to Bonnie via Bonnie’s dreams? And what can Abbie tell Bonnie about that?

I wonder if Stefan has peeked into those coffins yet? Come on Stef, I really want to know who’s in that extra coffin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And finally, Damon is intrigued by Dr. Fell? Wierd…but of course, I’m guessing that anyone Ric’s involved with would get Damon’s attention;)

  • CheckeredYcats

I don’t think he likes her, I think he’s just curious because she seems to be so curious. She is a Fell after all -Logan Fell -vampire hunter family, I think I would weird if he wasn’t interested to know what was up with her. But if he is intrigued in THAT way… I will be POed! DON’T MESS WITH THE BROMANCE! >:/
Jamie is supposed to be Bonnie’s new love interest. I don’t think Tyler will turn to Elijah for help… I think it could be Damon or Stefan. He hates Damon, but Damon is against Klaus so that would make an unexpected ally. And Stefan, well he’s against Klaus so that would make sense as well and they could team up, but I don’t think the rest of the MF gang would be too pleased.

  • Anonymous

Wait a minute…I just thought of something. Regarding what intrigues Damon about Dr. Fell……could she be immune to compulsion like Bill Forbes? She’s a Fell, so she could have gone to conditioning school, too. That’s just another guess…..

  • Anonymous

I’m wondering whether or not Bonnie’s mum may have anything to do with how Mikael ended up trapped in a coffin – i think it was Anna who said that it was witches who did it about 15 years ago…anyways, total psyched about the new episodes, they come out a day before my birthday :D

  • James_Evers

Now this is the episode that I’m excited about!!! Bonnie and her mom Abby is going to (hopefully) answer a lot of questions, especially for Bonnie fans!!! So excited!!!

  • Sasha

Damon is intrigued because he’s being territorial. He wants Alaric all to himself. There’s only room for two in this bromarital union.

  • dreamBIG

I hope this episode isn’t as boring as it sounds. No offense to any Bonnie fans.

Damon better be intrigued because she’s curious about Ric’s sudden recoveries & not because he wants to get with her. Please no more love interest for Damon. No one other than Elena. Plus I think Ric & Mary are going to get together so I don’t think I need to worry all that much.

  • Anonymous

Wait another minute…doesn’t anyone think it’s a bit strange that Bonnie’s mom took a “boy in” years earlier, but she left her own daughter?

  • Anonymous

    Definitely weird…
and Bonnie’s mom is a witch, right? And how is that so…because it’s Bennett witches, and her mom married a Bennett, not born a Bennett…oh well.

  • Anonymous

Bonnie’s mom is a born Bennett. Bonnie gets her Bennett family blood from her mother’s side of the family, not her fathers. Her father is just a normal human that we’ve never met for two and a half seasons, haha.

  • Anonymous

Cool thoughts. It’s interesting you’re connecting Bill Forbes’ compulsion resistance with possibly a learned ability to resist sired loyalty. Could Bill come back and help Caroline help Tyler? It would be a nice, small redemption arc for him, because let me tell you, I hate Bill Forbes. And I would like him to explain, step by step, how to resist compulsion. He called out Damon for having lazy technique. So what makes certain techniques better than others? And how can you tell? I just realized this makes me sound like I’m planning to resist some compulsion on my own here, but I’m just super curious.

  • Anonymous

So, because of the last name, I’m going to assume that Bonnie’s mother and father were never married……yet this woman left her child with this guy whom we’ve never met, ran off, took some kid into her home….and forgot about her daughter? Wowzo!

  • Anonymous

I hate Bill Forbes as well and was perfectly OK with Damon taking him out…but that didn’t happen. So, I figured, since the writers made such a big deal about Bill being able to resist compulsion, surely they would come back to it. I know siring & compulsion aren’t the same thing, but conditioning is conditioning no matter what way you look at it…..I don’t know, basically, it was just one of the many random thoughts I had about TVD:)

  • Ali200394

Totally. Cant wait to find out what that’s all about hhhmmm…

  • Henrita

IT’S BONNIE;S EPISODE BOTCHES!!!!! IM SO HAPPPYYYY

  • Anonymous

Exactly, what the hell!  The parents of of MF!!  All signs point to Bonnie’s mom is going to be lying to her.

  • Anon

I’m torn over whether I want Alaric or Damon to have Dr Fell as a love interest. Both guys deserve a new love interest.

Probably Ric though, because the writers put him through hell when they killed Jenna.

But Damon hasn’t had any girls this season, he is overdue for some love too.

  • Anonymous

Well, judging by the other parents we have met on TVD, I don’t think Abby will be running for Mother of the Year.  I already don’t trust her.

  • Anonymous

Random question because I have something going around in my head.  Can hybrids have children?  We know that vampires cant procreate, but because of Mason, Tyler, and pre-vamp Klause, we know that werewolver can.  So, what happens with hybrids, does the vampire stuff outway the werewolve stuff.  Has Tyler and Klaus lost their ability to have children from their wolve genes?

  • Amy

It hasn’t been mentioned sadly, I know at the begining of the season that there were some rumours going around saying Caroline was going to get pregnant to Tyler but all we have at the moment are rumours and guesses

  • Anonymous

I don’t think Caroline will get pregnant because she is a full vampire.  My mind is going some place completely different.  Of course, if Caroline was turn into a hybrid then the wolf thing comes into question again. I think Caroline became pregnant in the books but she was human at the time.

  • Anonymous

…uh, do you not see the big elephant in the room? Damon and Elena?! Sexual tension and all that? Which is apparently about to reach a boiling point? *shakes head* Even leaving that out, he’s too busy playing hero to fool around.

  • None

Anyone else find it strange that real-life loves are being swapped here? Damon and Dr. Fell, Ian and Torrey; Stefan and Elena, Paul and Nina? All this and in real life, the pairs are swapped! Some lucky gals!!!

Anyway, I hope Stefan and Damon’s mother is in the coffin! Maybe why their dad hated vamps so much!!! Wonder if the timeline would work….

  • soraya

I think Jeremy is MF leave ?????????? NO

  • Anonymous

What do you think TVD family, might Jamie be a new love interest for Bonnie? And what about Tyler, could Katherine be the unexpected ally to get back to his free will. She hates Klaus and I think  the coffin-stealing-plan was due to her inspiration. I can´t imagine that she simply run away to the sunny south and will never be seen in MF.

@ladym05:disqus, why do you believe werewolves can procreate? Tyler doesn´t have any children, and neither does Klaus. Tyler´s dad didn´t trigger the wolf-gene and so wasn´t a full wolf either. And Mason is just Tyler´s uncle, (as in brother of somebody with kids ) and as far as I got it he doesn´t have any children.

  • TVD*fan

well…that is the way propagate their species…

  • TVD*fan

i really doubt it. the only way to create a hybrid is to get an existing werewolf and feed him hybrid blood and kill him, they’re not something that can be born. however if u’re saying that they maybe can have children with werewolf genes, it is a possibilty. but i just dont like the idea, so ill dismiss it ;)

  • Sapphire

No, actually. Bonnie said in 1.03 that her parents divorced. Bonnie must’ve taken her mother’s name.

  • Anonymous

I was wondering too. I hope our question will be answered in one of the episodes.

  • Anonymous

    Bonnie>3333

  • Canderella

I wished it was already next week … *sigh*
so many appetizers thrown to us simply to torture us with questions and speculations… when will it ever end?!? Hopefully never ;)
A lot already written about Bonnie, her mom, Damon being intrigued.

Just want to add that I could imagine that having found out that Stefan again saved his life Damon might step back a little from Elena. At least for a while… And Dr. Fell entering the scene might distract him for a while. Maybe it is not a romantic interest at all, like some assumed. But I could imagine that IF Damon indeed IS interested in some way, Elena might have a huge problem with that and it becomes even hotter than it is already… Wouldn’t mind that ;)

  • Anonymous

I don’t think Damon being intrigued with Dr. Mary Fell has anything to do with romance.  His best friend, Alaric, will be getting involved with a Founding Family member of the Fell clan. Damon always errs on the side of caution when it comes to strangers entering into their lives.  If she turns out to be Logan “Scumbag” Fell’s sister, whom Alaric killed, Damon will definitely want to know more about her.  I think it will boil down to Damon looking out for Alaric, his best friend.

Bonnie is dreaming that finding the coffins will tell her how to kill Klaus?  Maybe Ayana, whom I believe was a Bennett ancestor 1,000 years ago, is channeling Bonnie from the grave.  If so, does that mean there will be a “War of the Witches” from the grave between Esther, the Original witch/mother and Ayana, possibly from the Bennett witch line?  Ayana warned Esther not to do the spell because it would cause a “plague”.
Does Ayana lead Bonnie to her mother, Abby, in order to possibly find a way to kill Klaus? Does this young man, Jamie, have something to do with this?

Abby abandoned Bonnie 15 years ago, which means she left when Bonnie was only 2 years old.  Why is Bonnie using her mother’s maiden name when her father has been raising her since age 2?  If Bonnie’s parents divorced when Bonnie was age 2, I would think that the Bennett name is her father’s.  Unless her parents were never married and Bonnie’s birth certificate shows only the Bennett maiden name on it.  Was Gram’s the paternal Grandmother or the maternal grandmother?  All I remember Gram’s saying was that Bonnie’s father did not want Bonnie practicing witchcraft because of what happened to her mother and that Emily Bennett was the most powerful witch in the Bennett line. In reality is Bonnie’s dad the true Bennett and a non-practicing warlock?  I really hope the writers will give more background on the Bennett ancestry, but I have a feeling that Bonnie will be in for some personal heartbreak over her mother.

Since I want to keep Klaus around into next season, I really hope another way to kill him is not found.  He is such an entertaining character and Joseph Morgan is AWESOME.   I sincerely hope all the Originals will be around next year.

As for speculation regarding whether a hybrid can procreate, I say “NO”.  The human werewolf died and came back as a vampire thanks to the blood of the doppelganger, which is what is needed to created a hybrid.

I am guessing Tyler’s unexpected ally will be Bill Forbes.

Sounds like this episode will have some twist, turns and unexpected revelations.
    Can’t wait!

  • Anonymous

I find that extremely odd.  Cannot wait to hear Abby’s explanation for that one, but I think Bonnie is going to experience some major personal heartbreak from her mother.  Should we have our tissues ready?

  • Anonymous

Maybe the Bennett is actually the father, who is a non-practicing warlock. Perhaps Abby is a witch too, but was not a nice one, which took Bonnie’s parents to choose opposite sides. If so, that would be understandable as to why Bonnie’s father does not want her practicing magic.  Maybe Bonnie has a “dark side” that could surface because of who her mother is.  That would certainly be an interesting turn of events.

  • Anonymous

    I don’t trust her either.

  • Anonymous

I wonder if Dr. Mary Fell takes an interest in Alaric’s healing powers because she thinks he is a vampire.  Since she is a “Fell” I am guessing she is a Vampire hater too.

  • Sasha

That’s a really good guess, so good in fact that I hope that’s where they’re going to take that story line. Torrey Devitto is so good at playing bad, I kind of hope Mary Fell is secretly working against them in some way.

  • Anonymous

Oh, I forgot that Alaric killed Logan Fell! I really like the idea that that was her brother and she’s after Alaric for revenge. Well, not necessarily LIKE it (poor Alaric needs a lady friend that’s good news), but it’s an interesting idea.

  • Anonymous

OK- so the last name of Bennett would then belong to the father not the mother. Therefore, Bonnie’s Dad is the Bennett….and that would make Abbie’s maiden name possibly….Pritchett? Someone had to put Mikael to sleep…..wonder if this is where they are going with this….

  • Anonymous

That’s an interesting thought GP….it would be cool for the writers to go there with Bonnie’s character. I actually would love it because we know so little about her or her family………

  • http://ladygawain.livejournal.com/ ladygawain

Or maybe Bennett women always retain their family name as the witchcraft is passed down through the line (whether they bear sons or daughters). I’m not sure we need to assume that the Bennett name comes from her father’s side of the family especially not in this era.

  • Anon

Yes, some people may think that Damon/Elena is going somewhere. I am not one of them.

  • Anonymous

But when Bonnie met Luca and his father she didnt know about Warlocks or what male witches were even called. I would of thought that if her father was a warlock- even if he doesnt use magic- she would know about warlocks, right?

  • James_Evers

I’m not into shipping either so I say let Damon roam somewhere else. Personally I think that they’re so much better when they’re not together, and this goes with either Salvatore brother being paired with Elena, so in my opinion they both need someone else.

  • James_Evers

Well with Luca he only said he preferred the term warlock and Bonnie seemed more surprised at how open he was about his craft to her more than anything.

And many, particularly Bonnie fans, have wondered which side of the family she gets her powers from. I say both until proven wrong otherwise. It seems they both may have practiced the craft, something happened which probably involves Mikeal and Klaus, they separated and Abby had to keep far away to protect them. Regardless, I’m so excited for this episode!!!

  • Mdearth24

The writers said that rebekeh will come back and someone will remove the dagger, I think that will be Tyler who needs help from another original…or Bonnie, Elijah, Alaric, or Damon.

  • Sasha

Iansfan, you’ve presented a very good question that hasn’t been made clear in the mythology. Can werewolves who have triggered the activation of the gene procreate? My guess is yes because they are still alive. As for the hybrids, I’m guessing they can’t because they’re dead. Klaus is another question because he’s an Original. We’ve seen Originals be exceptions to some vampire rules, so it’s possible they could, but I really don’t want that rule broken.
I think Jamie is supposed to be a love interest for Bonnie, which means Jamie will die. Let’s face it, when Bonnie so much as flirts with a guy, its lights out for said guy.
