The Vampire Diaries TV SeriesMTV has more of their conversation with Paul Wesley and he has some very interesting things to say about Stefan’s future:

“His layers are starting to sort of show,” he said. “When the story first began, he was sort of this mystery figure. And he always has that ambiguity about him, and as we get to know him and he starts having human problems, he becomes more of a person. For me, what’s interesting is that he’s going to get more intense and get more assertive with Damon and start just humanizing more. And that includes laughter and deep sadness. They’re really starting to make him more complex.”

Read/listen to the interview over at MTV.

And Nina chatted with the New York Post’s PopWrap about what viewers can expect on upcoming episodes of The Vampire Diaries, including some great spec about Elena’s parents:

PW: I think there’s more to Elena’s parents death than we know — thoughts?
Nina: [laughs] Yes … I do think that too. I don’t know when it’s going to happen, but we’re going to explore that storyline and that history. I feel like being on a show like this, you have an amazing secret that you so badly want to tell but can’t. All I’ll say is that in episode six, you’re going to be totally surprised by what happens.

Read the entire Q&A over at the NY Post.

Awesome! I so can’t wait for the next episodes.
In the book Elena found out the truth after Halloween right? I wish they would use the Halloween scene from the first book….
