It’s that time of year where websites, blogs, and magazines compile fun lists, and Vampire Diaries is popping up all over the place. First up, we have BuddyTV’s very comprehensive Television’s 100 Sexiest Men 2009. Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley clock in at #16 and #5 respectively, and here’s what BuddyTV has to say about each:
Ian (#16): As the devilish and devious older brother, Ian Somerhalder is having more fun playing a vampire than he probably has for the rest of his career. He’s funny, evil and so sexy that we’re willing to overlook the fact that Damon Salvatore routinely bites and kills innocent people.
Paul (#5): You Twilight fans can keep your Edwards and your Jacobs, because television has Paul Wesley as Stefan Salvatore. He combines Robert Pattinson’s wounded, brooding eyes with Taylor Lautner’s insanely toned body, and we don’t need to wait once a year to see him do his thing.
Wade through the entire list (ugh, SO HARD) over at BuddyTV.
And Damon Salvatore makes an appearance on SciFi Wire’s This Fall’s 10 Most Awesome Sci-Fi TV Characters:
He’s hot. He’s funny. He’s evil … though not as evil as he thinks he is, and we love this charming bad boy. The Vampire Diaries wouldn’t be nearly so much fun without him. Sure, Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) are made for each other and yadda yadda yadda. And, sure, Damon and Stefan have had to work together to deal with Logan-the-vampire-on-a-killing-spree lately. But it’s not like we trust Damon to behave himself. … And that’s exactly the way we like it.
Check out the entire list over at SciFi Wire.
