That’s exactly what i meant by liking the baby steps they’re taking with damon and elena! I was as shocked and appalled as everybody else with the snapping jeremy’s neck scene. (still makes me shiver just thinking about that sound). But i think that in the end they will be stronger for it. Not for him trying to kill her brother, of course not, but for having to work their way back to the understanding they had. She has seen the darkest side of him now, it doesn’t get any darker than that. So her letting him back in step by step, him making her see that he is a much better guy than she likes to think he is, that she can trust him.. i think that process will bring them closer than they’ve ever been before. Because she truly knows him and takes him for what he is. No secrets, no pretenses. Very different to her relationship with stefan imo. She rushed into that thinking he was just a regular good high school boy and only slowly came to know the truth about him and see the darker side of him. And most of the time he’s still trying to supress all that when he’s with her. I really don’t think they can make that work very much longer. The human blood is going to bring out his true nature at least to some degree, and i don’t know if he will be able to handle that on top of his first love katherine trying to win him back and lure him over to the dark side. Ooh how starwarsy.. darth stefan. haha. We’ll see. Just speculating. But team delena needn’t worry, that’s what i was trying to say. :) I think they’ll be much much closer by the end of the season.  (Quote)

I thought Stefan/Elena were so beautiful in this episode. Classic vampire romance story. I hope that they don’t break apart, I would be really disappointed. Stefan/Elena really emulate the likes of Edward/Bella, they are such a Power Couple.

Thoughts on the Moonstone… at first I thought Mason wanted the moonstone to control the full moon change, but now with Katherine involved and the force behind Mason’s quest, I think there is a different reason. Katherine may want the moonstone so she can control Mason transforming into a werewolf at her will and not just when there is a full moon, in other words for her to use as a weapon. If a werewolf bite can kill a vampire and she is in possession of the moonstone, maybe she will use Mason against what is after her. Second thought, maybe Katherine will use the moonstone to shape shift. At this point, I am inclined to think the moonstone was not from Emily. It may be much older than those days back in 1864. Katherine had been involved with many witches during her time as a vampire. As a matter of fact, don’t be surprised if Vanessa Monroe, former student of Isobel, turns out to be Katherine’s new witch.  (Quote)

Hi GA Peach- Thanks for pointing this out about the moonstone. I’ve been racking my brain trying to figure out why Kat wants it. It would make sense if it could be used to allow a werewolf to change whenever it (he/she) wanted to. You’re right, she would be able to use the wolf as a weapon. Knowing that there is something powerful after her, it totally makes sense, if this “something powerful” is a vampire to have a “weapon” at her disposal to take it out.

I wonder about your shapeshifting theory…..in other lore, vampires powerful enough can shapeshift on their own, without the use of an amulet of some kind. But on TVD, they take the basics and add a little twist. If the writers go in this direction, it could be very interesting….

I’ve had my suspicions about Vanessa since she was first introduced in Bad Moon Rising…I’ve always felt it was a test of Kat’s to see if Damon would sacrifice himself for Elena. It wouldn’t surprise me at all is she was Kat’s witch.

I wasn’t bashing, just stating an opinion. I happen to like Stefan, I just find him boring with Elena. That’s me. Just like you think Elena and Stefan are romantic. That’s your opinion:) I like reading what others think, helps put things into prospective.

As for Elena giving Stefan blood, I don’t think this is going to end well. She gave Stefan blood in \Let the Right One In\ and he became a blood junkie. Stefan was completely out of control and could not acclimate himself slowly even then. Yes, Stefan needs to be on human blood in order to be strong, but he becomes a different person. In the whole scheme of things, what happened in \Miss Mystic Falls\ when Stefan almost killed Amber, was not that long ago in the Vampire Diaries timeline. Think about it! Between \Founders Day\ and \The Return\ was less than 24 hours. If Stefan can easily control himself this go around, then it makes the whole storyline from \Let the Right One In\ through to \Blood Brother\ null and void. Nope, I think there will be major issues with Stefan on blood again. Elena may not like what he becomes, nor do I think this will cement their relationship at all. Some comments said that the writers were avoiding blood swapping on the televisions show, but I remember that in \Lost Girls\ Damon and Vicky swapped blood, but it had nothing to do with cementing a relationship. .  (Quote)

Yes, you do have a point about Stefan and human blood. I am very worried, not only for Elena but for Stefan as well. I mean, could this had been Kat’s plan all along? What I mean by this is to get him back on human blood…as you pointed out above, he becomes some kind of hungry raging lunatic on it…..could this be a plan of Kat’s to divide Stefan, Damon & Elena even more? Who knows if he’s going to be able to control himself…it just seems like a risky move to me.

Was it just me or did anybody else imagine that when Stefan was drinking Elena’s blood, he would lose control and Damon would’ve been the one to stop him (because he would of been able to hear Elena’s screams). Oh my, that would of been so perfect if it was true. Lol seriously, that was all I was thinking of when I was watching that scene. And to further more my daydream, Elena would fear Stefan and go running to Damon for comfort…and ,of course, they would live happily ever after. <3

I love Stelena together. The fact that all the bad Damon has done in front of Elena makes him a bad choice as a mate. If she is not going to be w/ Stefan then she should not go w/ Damon his brother. No one dates their brothers ex’s. She has been intimate w/ Stefan & shared blood there can be no Delena. Damon has been intimate w/ her mother, Matts mom, tried to kill both her best friends & her brother & Lexi in front of her. It is his fault about Grams dying I am with Bonnie he is only fooling some of the people all the time. There should never been any acceptance for that plus he killed Vicky because he was being cruel. He could have compelled her & sent her on her way. The scences w/ Damon & Elena are not hot and to force her to forget abt what he has done & be w/ him would not be right. Just because something looks good does not mean it is good for you. I love Caroline as a vampire and lets not forget he did her badly he did not have to treat her badly & she could have let him die. If he killed her at the carnival Damon & Stefan would be dead. He owes Caroline an apology for all the abuse he put on her & she still saved him. Damon should have taken the arrow in the back eps 22 Elena saved him & at the carnival she save hime from Bonnie she owes him nothing at all. She needs to get revenge on him and stop accepting his crap all the time. She let the mother thing go an moved on from that quickly. She should be having nightmares because of this like normal people. I like the new Stefan alot he is really starting to not be so nice. I melted w/ the carnival ride & eps 5 perfect. Damon can have Liz he did call her his friend and he respected her enough not to kill her. He did not respect Elena by trying to kill her brother because his ex made him mad. I really would have liked to see Katherine w/ Damon he knew all alone what she was & he accepted it. He was too busy trying to steal Katherine away frm Stefan. In Eps 22 Elena said don’t make me regret being yr friend so why would he try to kiss his brother girl because he is a snake & always wants to punish Stefan. Stefan is a good guy & its sad that we no longer appreciate a decent man we would rather be tied to a cute womanizing snake that is why there are so many unhappy people. Stefan has been a quiet hero he has saved Elena several times & Bonnie as well as Caroline. He tried to train Vicky & Caroline is doing better as a vamp. We are always looking for the good looking guy who is not good for us but because he is sort of good looking we accept his rotten behavior. No one in their right mind would accept a man who tries to kill their family member in front of them because of rejection. He was just kissing on Katherine willing to give her a 50th chance right before that. Katherine was not going to tell him about Stefan she was going to be w/ him & not say anyghing. He is not stable when it comes to Katherine he was in luv w/ this woman for 145 yrs its not gone. Elena rejected Stefan for several eps and he left her alone and did not try to hurt her or her family. He tried to protect her although she kept showing up at his house saying stay away but here I am. Stefan never forced his love on her or tried to compel her love Damon tried to compel her & if you have to force it then its not meant to be. I am just saying Stelena forever Delena never Kamon maybe. If he had not compelled that carnival worker to mess w/ Tyler Caroline wouldn’t have smelled blood & killed him his fault. If he had not been so obvious w/ Mason & tried to kill him & just waited then they could have gotten the jump on him his fault. If he hadn’t tried to get in the tomb grams would be alive. If he hadn’t tried to be so macho to impress Elena Caroline would not be a vampire. Caroline was very brave I am sorry she didn’t hurt Mason a little more. Her mother does not love her because if she loved her Caroline she would have tried to a least show some tolerance. Damon did not do that much for Caroline when it came to her mother he owed her for saving his life lets be real. Damon needs a bib because he always kill first they got set up and the human blood did not give him a brain. Caroline used her mind & keen hearing for figure out something was wrong & save the day. I hope she gets Matt back she deserves a nice decent guy. He has done so many rotten things that he deserves no sympathy Elena is just to good for him and she needs a normal life if not w/ Stefan than w/ a nice normal human guy. Elena is human she will have to make a choice sooner or later anyway to stay human and move on. I love Katherine but I knew Stefan was right abt her & she has said all along that she will do anything to get her way. I don’t understand why she pretended to luv Stefan but he did not fall for her tricks kudos to Stefan. I still want to know how Stefan knew she was Katherine & not Elena but Damon could not tell.
