We survived the two week wait for a brand new episode, but we have a horrible suspicion that the one week wait for Masquerade is going to be worse. Plan B is the first part of a two-parter. Given how regular episodes often end with spectacular cliffhangers, we’re afraid to find out what explosive ending this episode will deliver, and the punches it’s going to pack in as it takes us there.

G.Peach, I do have Wake, I think the only one I don’t have yet is Marco Polo, but have seen it and do plan on buying when it gets cheap enough on half.com. Have you seen The Tournament, Ian is a hired killer. (Quote)

I have not seen The Tournament yet but knew it was about hired killers. Ian talked about it during an interview and said he was Miles Slade in the movie. It also stars Kelly Hu (Pearl)and Ving Rhames. Have you seen it? If so, what did you think? I read reviews on Marco Polo and it sounds like Ian did a great job in it.

Did you like “Wake”? I loved it. It opened the Independent Film Festival in 2009 and release to DVD April 2010. Ian is such a versatile actor. In case you haven’t noticed, I am a huge fan of his. One thing for sure, he owns the character of Damon Salvatore.

Oh yes I loved Wake and have it, have seen and just got in The Tournament and also The Lost Samaritan which is very good. Watching it now and Ian is hot and of course he had to change shirts…YEA for the director. LOL Marco Polo is wonderful and it will be mine before Christmas. I feel the same way about Ian I do about James Marsters..he IS Spike and Damon is all Ian’s. I just want to see Ian playing Ian in the movie from the book The Host. When I was reading I kept thinking this has got to be Ian’s part. The description of Ian in the book had to have been written with him in mind.lol If you have not read it..get it. I also like his Syfy movie Fireball, just picked that up from one of the RedBox on sale. Also loved Paul in Fallen, that could have been an audition tape for TVD, without fangs.

Vamp Lover, I just don’t see Elena being turned this year, but like I said the show does keep surprising me. I do think it will happen..later. I had not even thought about what it would do to Damon, that is interesting. Yep the show just keeps heating up, Moonstone, werewolf, Kat and Elena all coming together, but the something that is after Kat just got so much worse. Now she has Bonnie, Jer, Damon, Stefan, Caroline and Alaric to add to her woes. How much better can this get? And I am still not convinced that Liz will not be in that mix.lol Just call me hard headed. (Quote)

As to Elena turning into a vampire, IDK..I think it will happen, it’s definatley something that’s going to have to be dealt with, I just hope that it’s her choice and not forced upon her.

Kat, why she wants the moonstone, and why she needs a werewolf and why she so obviousley wants Elena separated from the boys (who will do whatever is necessary to protect her) is quite a puzzle…we need more info. This is driving me crazy!!!!

I think that Damon still has feelings for Katherine. The look on his face and what he said when Stefan told him about Mason and Katherine. I don’t know…I think there is still feelings there. For me I would love to see Bonnie do such a huge/kickass spell that sends Katherine begging for mercy and then have Elena finish her off. I just really would love to see Bonnie give it to Katherine for being such a bitch to her and dismissing her with the, your no Emily. I think that Bonnie is a kickass witch. She just doesn’t know it yet.

Completely agree. That would be OUTSTANDING. Bonnie is getting stronger and stronger and Katherine has brought nothing but grief to Elena. Bonnie would want to do it for messing with her bestfriend and to prove that she is a powerful and very strong witch. She is a Bennett witch and has been chosen for a reason by Emily. With Elena, Katherine has made her give up her true love Stefan. Both women have enough anger to take on Katherine. Lets face it Katherine will be expecting Stefan and Damon to try something. But Katherine doesn’t feel threatened by Bonnie and Elena, which would make there plan to kill her perfect.

First, thank you to both Eve & Chelsey for coming up with an idea that wasn’t even on my radar:) That’s not a bad idea..I just think that that would be sort of a let down, at least for me as a fan of the show. Let’s face it, although Kat has been causing Elena nothing but misery, it has only just started. She completely ruined both Stefan and Damon’s lives. She’s been causing Damon nothing but grief for 145 years. First, she faked her own death. Then, when Damon was trying to save her from a fate worse than death, she wasn’t in the tomb. He had to have know she didn’t care one little bit about him, but apparantely was still holding onto a little bit of hope in his heart that she loved him. When he heard the words from her mouth, “It’s always been Stefan” in The Return, it pretty much sealed her fate as far as Damon was concerned. He feels like a complete idiot because, all this time, he thought she loved him. In short, he now realizes he’s been played, big time. Although she has dismissed Bonnie and is trying to ruin Elena’s life at the moment, and let’s say those two were successful in getting rid of her, considering everything she’s done to Damon, it would be a definate let down for me to have Elena and Bonnie be successful in killing her.

As to Damon finding it to difficult, I understand why you would think that. I mean, he did do all that I mentioned above because he truly loved her. I just think that now, after hearing those words from Kat’s own mouth, and the fact that she is a major threat to Elena, who at the very least he values her as his friend, and the pain she’s been causing the people he cares for, I just think he’s been underestimated a bit. I don’t believe he will have any problem killing her. At the very least, if it’s an emotional problem he has, there’s always that handy switch in his head he can flip off so he doesn’t have to feel anything while he’s doing it:)

Hi guys, while we’ve been going back and forth a bit about our thoughts, ect..I wanted to get your opinion on something. Considering what happened to Stefan last season regarding the blood issue and Caroline stating in Plan B he was a “blood aholic”..do you think it’s going to be a problem for him? I’m really concerned about this and wanted to see what you had to say from your perspective. I know you both are huge Stefan fans and wanted to know if you guys were worried about it:)

It’s just with Kevin and Julie…you never know what’s around the next corner.lol Besides, I love how strong Bonnie and Elenas characters are getting. As for Stefan on the human stuff.(love saying that it sounds funny )lol I am thinking that he’ll be able to control it when he needs to because of his love for Elena and what is at risk. I mean when he needs to kickass he will have the strength to just snap into a crazy man and attack. But, when he needs to control it. Because of Elena he will. But like I said, with Kevin and Julie, you never know. I’m still in shock about the break up.

As far as the blood I think that Stefan will get it to work as he is hoping and it will make him strong enough to help kill Kat. Remember even Damon is not strong enough to take on Kat one on one. She is the same age as Pearl and older than Lexi and both of them could take Damon out. It will be a joint effort to get Kat, but I still want Damon to have the major role in this. I will be crying and shouting just like I did when Spike beat Angel in the Destiny ep. GO DAMON. Ok off for the cold shower.lol

Omg, I think that it would be incredible for Bonnie and Elena to beat Katherine. I love all the gals on the show and it’s hard to pick a favourite. I just really love the whole witch part of the show and how tough Bonnie is getting. Bonnie I believe was chosen by Emily to carry on the Bennett witch tradition for a reason and I think she is going to become even stronger. I would love to see Bonnie throw Katherine around and have her begging for mercy. Maybe even have Emily come back to help. As for Stefan and the blood. I agree he knows he has to much to lose and his love for Elena is what he will need to help him control his urges and get back together with her.

I hope you & Pam are right about Stefan and the blood stuff. I’m a huge Damon fan, but worry about Stefan, too. One’s things is for certain, the brothers are going to have to work together, with the help of Alaric, Caroline, Bonnie and even Jeremy (I think he was a huge asset as far as research goes in Plan B) in order to be able to beat Katherine. There isn’t a doubt in my mind that both brothers love Elena, I think she is the core of what’s holding everything together. Like what you said above, she is Stefan’s anchor, if he didn’t love her, it would be to easy to give in to his urges for the blood. She’s also Damon’s humanity. If he didn’t love her, it would be to easy to flip that humanity switch off.

Agree that it would be a huge let down for me if anyone other than Damon has the pleasure of killing Katherine. Kevin has said Katherine will be around for a while, so I think whatever goes down in the next episode, Katherine will be the one still standing. Crap!.. Although, Julie did say Damon will get closure and have his day in the sun with her. I have a thought, maybe he will snatch her daywalking necklace off while they are standing out in sunlight. If that happens he could stand back and watch her burn. I have a feeling Bonnie will be distracted at the Masquerade ball by Lucy (vampire witch?) Katherine’s “old” friend, who may be an ancestor from the Bennett line and will be another force to deal with. Can anything else possibly go wrong?

As far as Damon having feelings for Katherine other than pure hatred, I don’t think so. During the torture scene with Mason, this may sound crazy to some of you, but I thought for a brief moment Damon actually had empathy for Mason. He realized Mason was the same fool he had been and could relate to him in a twisted kind of way. As far as jealousy, absolutely not. Damon will have no problem killing Katherine. I was concerned Stefan may not be able to kill her, but after the “forced” break up with Elena, I have no doubt Damon and Stefan are on the same page.

As a complete Damon fan that has been cheering for a Damon/Elena romantic relationship, I hated the way the relationship had to end for Elena and Stefan. It was not their choice, it was forced. So wrong in so many ways. When and if Damon and Elena take it to the next level, it has to be by choice. Stefan and Elena need to end it on their own. Kevin has said Elena and Damon will grow closer and a romance will be explored, but under what circumstances I cannot imagine. Will Stefan change because he is on human blood? Will Elena look at him differently? Will Stefan go with Katherine only to protect Elena and her family? If Damon and Stefan can’t kill her, what is left? I guess I am over analyzing, but if Damon and Elena get together, I want it to be real. Anything else would not be rewarding. Have I said enough about how the whole Stefan and Elena break up bothers me? It was so sad! I hated it! It was forced on them. Judging from Damon’s reaction, he did not like it going down this way either.

As a true Damon fan myself, I absolutely agree with everything you said above, GA Peach. Stefan and Elena should not have been placed in that position. It was truly awful and I felt horrible for both of them. I know what Kevin said about the Damon/ Elena relationship…I’m keeping my fingers crossed and hope it will be explored. I can’t imagine either what conditions would allow this to happen. It came in through to me loud and clear that the whole break up thing didn’t sit well with Damon either because he cares for both his brother and Elena. And you’re most definately right, whatever happens needs to be by free choice. Not forced upon anyone.

Stefan on human blood will be no problem. Stefan loves Elena more then having to depend on the blood. Stefan knows that Elena is his life now and always. He is only doing the human blood to help kill Katherine. As for who should kill Katherine. I think that Elena and Bonnie would be fantastic. Bonnie because she is protecting Elena and the people of Mystic Falls and Elena because she wants to protect her family and she loves Stefan far to much too lose him because of her.

Hi Chelsey and Amands- Thanks for responding back and I hope you are all correct…what makes me so uneasy is that after Let Right One In through Blood Brothers he still had that strong relationship/ bond with Elena but he was unable to control it. Again, I am truly hoping you are all correct and can scream from the rooftops “I told you so”, but this concern can’t be ignored.

hey guys, well i wanted to ask u people , i mean how many of you people are suddenly stuck by these thoughts about the possible endings of the show,ending of the entire series . cause believe me it happens to me all the time and there’s this one particular thought which keeps on reoccurring in mind like a repetitive nightmare, and its a pretty BIG possibility that it could happen, i hope it doesn’t! this miserable thought of mine goes like this *finally finally for us delena fans they are together and madly in love with each other, but soon are dreams shatter cause somehow Damon dies protecting Elena and leaves her responsibility within the hands of Stefan, tells him to keep her happy no matter what, and tells them it would be better if they got together , and asks Elena that she would do that for his sake,cause then he will be sure that she would be taken care of and wont be lonely, and tells her only then he could die peacefully and she agrees to it. these could be the last words they share and then Damon dies leaving Elena in the custody of Stefan,knowing she’ll be safe there* Now isnt that a horrible thought? tell me if u agree with anything ive written.

I totally agree with you. But now I just can’t stop thinking in how the end of the show could be I really think, not only as a Delena fan, but also as a person that beleives that even the worst person has some good in him and I think that a very good ending would be: Elena and Damon together and Stefan leaving because although he loves both of them he can’t stand watching them together and he finds another woman or as I am a fatalist, if Damon doesn’t get Elena he has to die but I am talking about the last episode of the series not before because I will stop watching the show if this happens before and I think he should die saving Elena from something and I really don’t care about an Stefan and Elena living happily ever after because I am not a romantic girl, as for the Delena endig I would name it fighting happily ever after ahha
