Got your boxes of tissues ready for The Last Day? Excellent. It all seems very tragic and poignant, we think we’ll be needing them. Stefan and Elena are set to break our hearts, Matt and Liz are out to betray Caroline, Damon is planning on causing problems in the name of Elena’s survival, and Alaric is going to have the mother of all hangovers when he wakes up post-possession (and is there enough alcohol in the entire world to scrub out having Klaus reside in your brain for several days? We suspect not).
