Damon is not in a romantic relationship with Elena.  One shared kiss does not make a romance.  Elena has continued to keep Damon at arms length.  If Damon wanted to sleep with Rebekah and Katherine at the same time he is more than entitled to do so and Elena would have no right to get jealous or pass judgement.   Should Elena and Damon actually become involved in a romantic relationship, then I’m sure Damon would be sharing his bed and his stuff with only her.

Not only has Elena broke Damon’s heart by her actions in this episode, but she also has broken his trust and has damaged their friendship.  I wish Elena luck in repairing the damage, but I don’t think it will be an easy task.

Damon needs to stay away from anything related to Elena.  Let Stefan, who is supposedly the love of her life, take care of anything and all things regarding Elena.  There is no need for Damon to continue putting his life at risk for someone who is so unappreciative.  Done, done and done!

Damon needs his own love life with a beautiful vampire.  Rebekah will be just fine, or better yet, bring Katherine back.  Maybe Damon and Katherine can be soul mates and have their own epic love story.  That is what Damon thought he had with Katherine 145 years ago, which is why he was willing to turn into a vampire and spend an eternity with her.

As for the non existent 3rd season triangle, the writers/creators need to “piss or get off the pot”.  Stop teasing it! Be creative and give Damon someone other than Elena. A triangle is not 2 people involved in their own so called epic love story with the third person as an outsider.  To have a triangle there has to be a love story told between all parties involved.  There has to be a love story between  Damon/Elena and a love story between Stefan/Elena.  Then there has to be a story of Elena acknowledging her love for them both and romantically involved with them both. Once that happens, it can be milked for a couple of seasons leading up to the so called endgame.

Well, Elena isn’t supposed to try to kill the man who saved her from that women- the women who she literally back-stabbed so eloquently, but she does the exact same thing, without giving it a second thought and feeling absolutely no remorse. Elena doesn’t deserve Damon. Actually, I’m going to go out on a limb and say that Elena doesn’t even deserve Stefan. 

When the person your in love with (Elena) rejects you and goes running to the other person she had dangleing on a string (Stefan), you (Damon) have the right to do whatever you want.

I don’t get why your saying anything at all to me about Stefan. I completely agree with you, Stefan & Elena deserve each other. The difference in our opinions is that I don’t think the Stefan & Elena love story is anywhere near “epic”….

If you’re going to get all judgy on the DE fandom, you should be aware of 2 things: first, what Elena said to Damon was very harsh, so it’s unfortunately inevitable that some fans are going to  turn on her.  Second, SE fans certainly HAVE hated Elena for kissing Damon.  In the aftermath of 2×22, the hate she received was pretty intense.  There were SE fans who called her a ‘bitch’ for ‘cheating’ on Stefan, even though it was just a peck.  And as for the kiss in 3×10 Kevin and Julie received death threats and hate mail for that one.  So before you pretend that SE fans are better than DE, think again.  Because they’re not.  I didn’t like what Elena said, but I don’t hate her, and the DE fanbase is still alive and kicking.  They’re not perfect, but neither are SE fans.  So quit the finger-pointing and accusations please.  Neither fandom is ‘better’ than the other.  ‘JUST SAYING’.

Actually I have to disagree this time.

I don’t think that it is as simple as nailing it to the point of being already in a relationship or not. If a man tells you he is interested in you, maybe even falling in love with you and you then find out he sleeps with other women – how would you feel about it? Would you really say it is ok just because you are in no relation yet? Honestly I doubt that. You would question his words, his feelings, his sincerity. You would feel played.

So the main differentiation here is, that Elena stills acts like she is in a relation with Stefan and obviously wants it or him back more than she is willing to go with Damon.

That is the major point for me. He showed and told her how he feels, she knows it, she ignores it, she still goes after Stefan, deceives him and this is the point where it is perfectly ok for Damon to be totally fed up with trying and drooling and pleasing.

So yes – for me it is perfectly OK for him to go with Bex, but NOT because he is in no relation with Elena. As I mentioned before, up to this point they were at least friends – that was their official kind of relation they had. And that friendship would not have allowed to sleep with someone who just hours before tried to kill your friend.

Of course you can argue now that even that you are diappointed and being rejected you ought not behave like that. You should behave yourself and still be loyal. But it is Damon we are talking about and frankly – I don’t know if I had not taken it out like Damon did, being human. You only endure a certain amount of strikes until you strike back. Some can take more, some less. Jesus takes endless. Damon not so much :) And I can totally follow his feelings.

I mean he did not actually went for Beks, she just happened to come to the grill where Damon alread were – drunk and upset. Only logical consequence what happened then. And frankly: very enjoyable ;)

 Sorry to disagree, I love this site the way it is.  They are all neutral and do not play favorites.  All the actors are treated equally  by them.  If you have certain fans commenting it turns into a fan site for just one actor.  The people of this site work there butts off  and it show, because it’s the best for TVD’s news. Wouldn’t change a single thing about this site, it’s perfect!
