I just thought that he was coming back like the previous times – how comes his character has been written off because there is no storyline anymore?

No doubt Kat is giving the cure to Klaus for her freedom. It’s a hot potato with Silas rising and Kat will pass it ASAP.
Agree with Stefan’s willingness to give the cure to Elena. (Classy)
They moved Tyler out of the way for the Klaus/Caroline tryst that’s coming full speed. Then we can have the who’s more forgiving discussion Caroline or Elena. LMAO

That’s what I keep waiting for but each time I think they’re going to let him grow from the denial thing they put him right back there. It drives me crazy. Rose understood Damon for sure but his heart already belonged to Elena so she didn’t really have a chance and she knew it. The same goes for Andy. I know I hate that pain and loss has been the norm of his life. Sure he made the mistake of falling in love with the wrong woman when he was human but he was screwed before that because his father treated him like crap so it set him up for a lifetime of accepting that treatment. Very sad. Naturally Damon would look out for his younger brother and sacrifice his own happiness at times for him but it ends up being ALL the time and Stefan expects it.

BRING BACK JEREMY, PLEASE!!! :( :( TVD isn’t as great without him! He’s such a wonderful character (and McQueen is a lovely actor). How can Elena loose her whole family?! It’s unbelievable. There are too many deaths now on TVD, which makes the show loose its credibility! I loved the first three seasons when things were more “normal”, and character-driven. Matt and Jeremy are about the only “reality” the show has left. With Jeremy gone, it will be odd… out of balance. I’m sure they can keep the series interesting without letting one of our beloved characters die at the end of EVERY season. Come one, that isn’t fun at all! IMO: It should have ended after Jenna and Alaric (main characters concerned). To me, Jeremy is a main character (unbreakably linked to Elena), so he should stick till the end!

I’m trying to be ok….everytime I see the promos, I get so sad. I mean you do have a point, that is his grandson, but then again THIS is TVD. And they completely threw us off guard with killing a main character in episode 14, wtf?!?! Usually they wait til episode 19, and so on til the season finale, but i can’t help but think that he is really dead. Until we see otherwise anyway…sigh… But you’re right, sigh…I will try to keep positive thoughts, cuz that’s what I do right? Thanks Lynne. = )

this weeks episode has low rate because it was Valentines day, I don’t think they would stay home because of the VD.

I really hope that the writers go back to focusing on character development. I mean this denial that Stefan is always in and Damon being the one who always gets hurt and how he has to give everything up is repetitive and boring.

Well I’ll guess we have to see what both brothers do in the next episode.

I agree. I really, really hope that Silas will resurrect him eventually. This way Elena can still go “crazy” for some time and make for a nice storyline… but we’ll have Jeremy back in the end!
I just cannot imagine TVD without Jeremy in it (in some way)! If not alive, they should at least let him return as a ghost (like they did with Alaric).

But preferable alive. Why wouldn’t it be possible? Not everyone needs to have a major part! Friends and relatives of the main characters are needed to keep the realism in. They could just give him more “normal” stuff to do, if/when he comes back…be kind of like Matt, be like he was in series 1 and 2 (which I loved). There’s nothing wrong with that! I also like watching the characters doing normal things, like going to school (they don’t seem to go there anymore) and hanging out.
Now one big event happens after another, no breaks, it’s like a runaway train. I miss the character quality time of the first two series.

Darn, that they killed Jer is so depressing. I miss him already. I thought Damon was my favorite character, but boy, Jeremy has grown on me! It feels like having lost a friend, even though it’s just a TV show – I mourn.
*still hanging on to the tiniest bit of hope that eventually Silas will bring Jeremy back, and will cry of happiness when he does*

Small correction – tats on original five were visible, Klaus saw them when he did them. Although I don’t know for sure if they were complete.
