Am I the only one thinking that Vampire Diaries has turned into a very sad show….:/ I don’t know, but I think it’s just so .. SAD, but hey, I really like the idea of Damon og Elena being together, but everything is still very sad, because Stefan’s the kind and sweet one, like the rock..and now everything is just so sad :s

you are absolutely right, i wrote here that Elena fell in love to Stefan when she was a little girl but now she has grown and her feelings has changed too. It’s right thing,because we,who live in this world don’t love only one person whole life,am i right?

I too hope that it wouldn’t be Stefan if that were the case… But I some how don’t think he would stoop that low. Once he gets over the initial anger from his split with Elena, I’m sure they will be team Salvatore all the way. Although with the next episode I’m not sure he will even have to feel angry for long as it looks like the whole sire thing is a strong “posibility” :/ which would totally suck, be very repetitive (Klaus/Tyler story) , and make for some real inconsistent writing …

Perhaps this Prof Creepy (Xilus?) dude is somehow managing to manipulate them all into thinking that this cure exists only to get them all to go on a wild goose chase for his own purposes… If so, I would say he could be a good candidate for your theory ^^ 

How can we hope to understand anyone that says that a character like Damon isn’t layered… >.<

I know I can’t. I don’t know how many more layers people expect the writers to give that guy.

I’m too worried about what the writers will do with Delena to be really looking forward to the next eposide in that regard.  I really hope that they will give Delena a real shot and make it a progression that stands a chance and has the time to develop.  I’ve just got a really nasty feeling that it will be another fake out by the writers and in a few weeks it will be all about saving and getting back with Stefan.

Both brothers have changed over the seasons and now I’m not too sure that Stefan can claim the title of “Good Brother” when Damon keeps putting Stefans needs in front of his own desires and Stefan is now willing to turn a random human into a vampire to save Elena from the hallucinations.

Not to mention that when Elena choose Stefan, Damon was expected to stick around and get his nose rubbed in it constantly whereas Stephan, even though he decided to end things with Elena thinks its acceptable to make snide remarks to Damon about it – “don’t pretend its not the best day of your life”.  The fact that Stephan chose Damon to go after her when they knew she was trying to kill herself said it all to me – If she had died it would have been Damons fault rather than his so he could be absolved of blame.

I am looking forward to the Caroline / Klaus date and Jeremys and can’t wait to see how that happens

Oh, I know who’s idea it is….but, it’s just kinda a bummer “couples” why….or, I should say, if you “shipped” that couple, it’s got to be a bummer;)

so top question of the night when are you Damon or Stefan GONNA take us ladies out which i mean us women fans out? 

The story of Vampire Diaries is a story of a vampire learning to love himself and live with himself as he is, and a girl who learns what love is. Damon is a catalyst in both these situations.
People have been watching Elena question the idea of what love is for 3 seasons because the ‘love’ she felt for Stefan was what she thought love should be. She also never wanted ALWAYS with Stefan – as we learn from the episode where she tells him that she never wants to be a vampire (but she knew if you love someone who lives forever, you have to live forever  that was a BIG clue). She also thought since her parents died that she does not deserve to be happy, which is why this relationship dragged on as long as it did. The relationship from the beginning was based on a lie – FROM STEFAN’s part – he lied about everything until she caught him at it, and then he would partially come clear about it.
Yet because he saved her, Elena felt obligated to do the same for him, and that was the purpose of last season.
The reality is that Damon, from the moment she met him has been inciting feelings that are unknown to her (hence why she says she does NOT know what love is), and are terrifying because more than anything ELena is afraid that if she was to let herself go there, and something happened, she may NOT survive it.
We already know she is able to survive without Stefan – whole of last season proved that…however she has serious trouble surviving without Damon, hence the “where were you Damon’ at the beginning of last season…so I am not sure why people say this is new and surprising…he CONSUMES her…and that is a higher form of love…

 how is it a love of her life when she planned on getting married and having children????

Wouldn’t Silas come after the Originals? He said a powerful witch turned him into being eternal but Esther was the Original Witch? So wouldn’t he come after? Unless the Originals aren’t really the beginning of the supernatural creatures. We know there were werewolves before them so maybe witches existed before then too. This is confusing lol
