Ausiello has some interesting information, though he’s keeping quiet as to the exact circumstances. Looks like Uncle John didn’t draw his final breath in the season one finale episode, “Founder’s Day”, after all, as David Anders is set to appear in the Vampire Diaries season two premiere. What do you guys think? Is he going to manage to survive (and if he does, will he get a really cool hook in place of those missing digits?), or are we going to be treated to his last, epic gurgle in the opening moments in the Gilbert kitchen?
In other spoiler news, Julie Plec has dropped a teaser via Keck’s Exclusives:
“I can’t talk much about it yet,” says executive producer Julie Plec, “but one of the big surprises is that Katherine comes face to face with Elena.”
It’s going to be an experience for both Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder (who also chimes in on the article) when they start shooting season 2 in July.
Nina is still worried about emoting opposite a stand-in tennis ball when the series resumes production in July. “It will be difficult because a lot of acting is reacting to the other person, but it’ll be fun to step out of my comfort zone.
