I don’t know if you have had a chance to read all of Joseph Morgan’s phone interviews today. He has certainly been busy. According to his interview with Carina at Zap2it, there will be TWO Major deaths over the next two episodes.

According to Joseph Morgan’s phone interview with Carina at Zap2it, there will be TWO Major deaths over the next 2 episodes. I believe the hiatus is two weeks Feb. 28th and March 7th.

I believe the hiatus is for two weeks, Feb. 28th and March 7th, which means it is before episode 16. They are filming episode 18 right now.

Yeah I agree Wendy- Jo Mo does an excellent job portraying Klaus;) As for the spinoff-I don’t know when and if it would air in Australia…I will keep my eyes peeled. The scene with Caroline was poignant in the sense that we got just a glimpse of ‘Softie Klaus’…I do hope she was being honest and not playing him! Until Thursday x

her is a thought that crossed my mind…imagine if the vamps were seeing themselves in the well…I mean because techincally they are dead so what if they are seeing their human soul…that would be crazy

I don’t doubt she will but I’m wondering if we’ll see someone else as well that would be more surprising. Remember they’re going into that well where Shane saw his dead wife and the miners supposedly saw their dead loved ones. Maybe we’ll get to see Ric. I miss him.

I don’t either. Besides we’ve done the body jumping thing too many times already and being mind controlled as a minion isn’t that far off from that. We had Caroline do that back in season 1. I’d prefer something new.

Ok. Thanks I was kind of confused because wasn’t sure if Feb 28th would be the last ep before the hiatus. I’m hoping to only have to watch one out of town. I already told my husband we’re watching it on vacation and I found out the station and time it’s playing. LOL. Hey I don’t want to miss the major action.

Well we’ve run the gamet of potential people to bite the dust. We’ll find out one of them in a few hours. We know it’s not Bex or Klaus because they’re going to the new show. My guesses go in this order Jeremy, Damon (temporary death), Bonnie, Tyler.

I think when Stefan said under compulsion that he and Elena broke up because she slept with Damon that it was done intentionally by the writers to show that he only sees the betrayal because he assumed the sire bond was her reason for wanting Damon which kept her in his mind as his girlfriend. Later if you notice he tells Bex it happened because she was sired to Damon and didn’t know it.

It frustrates me too when some things don’t get addressed like apologies that should’ve happened, recognition for saving someone, calling someone out on lies, or betraying someone’s trust like Caroline did. What I also find very annoying is how this isn’t done even remotely in an equitable fashion. For instance, I don’t think we’re going to hear Caroline give Stefan any crap for hooking up with Bex whom Caroline hates herself yet she ripped on Elena for being with Damon. The unbalanced treatment of these characters has bothered me from the beginning because I just don’t see why it’s necessary.

Damon is not going to die, although he may suffer from some type of possession. According to Carina’s interview with Joseph yesterday he said that there will be two deaths in the next two episodes and according to Joseph one of them has already packed up and left Atlanta for good and it was a tearful goodbye.
My guesses go in this order:
Tyler
Jeremy
Bonnie

Also, Kristin with E! online spoke with Joseph yesterday too and he had this to say about Caroline and TVD crossovers:
We asked the very charming Joseph Morgan that very question regarding The Originals, and we’re sure fans of Klaus and Caroline will like his answer!

“There are going to be characters that cross over between the two worlds. The whole world is going to be richer,” he explains. “It would imagine all the fans that have been so generous to me are going to want to see what happens with Caroline…I feel like I owe it to the fans for there to be some resolve and for her to possibly turn up in New Orleans at some point. I know there’s already talks about different characters that can come over to New Orleans and then go back.”

I guess it depends on what her confession is. If she knows the cure is only enough for one (like, what if it’s just a magic drop or something like that flower Damon touched in the books?) then I could see her going rogue on everybody the closer they get to it. She is the strongest and fastest, so she has quite the competitive edge.

Whether Damon dies a temporary death or not I’d rather have him die and come back than to have him possessed as I’ve mentioned before. 1) We’ve had the body switching thing done more than once already and possession is just an extention of that so it seems a bit old. 2) Damon doing bad deeds even while being possessed just gives everyone continued ammunition of why he’s the bad brother because we’ve seen that his actions are always held against him by the gang while Stefan’s seems to fly right by everyone. Elena is the only one who gives Damon the benefit of the doubt. Do we really need that pounded into us yet again? I’ve been thinking they were going to kill Tyler off for a while but they never seem to do it. Instead they keep making it someone else I’d rather see stay like Ric. I can see the implication from JM’s interview. However, there’s still the option that Caroline and Tyler could simply break up then put her with Klaus without Tyler dying.

i agree with your three choices but my order would be Bonnie Jeremy then Tyler becuase didn’t they say there was going to be a charcter what was going to leave the show for some time too..i was thinking Tyler would leave

I was thinking that too…. but i really think that shes snapping his neck, because Elena Stefan and Rebekah are standing together before Elena jumps down the cliff, then I guess Rebakah says what she’s supposed to say after her “I have to tell you something about the cure” snapps his neck and leaves… Elena sees it but can’t go back or something like that… I’m just assuming
