Here it is, Vampire Diaries fans: The first promo for our last episode of 2011, Homecoming (EP309). After next Thursday, November 10th, Vampire Diaries will return with new episodes on Thursday, January 5, 2012. So GET HYPED for the mid-season finale!

WHAT’S THAT THING DAMON IS CHUCKING INTO THE FIREPLACE? Elena’s standing there with him. Looks like a plan failed. Probably about Stefan. I feel a heartfelt scene coming on (please dear god).
Also let Elijah come back in this ep by some miracle, because I was half expecting him to be back in Ordinary People.

I know shorter promos give less away, but I really do miss the super-extended EPIC ones rather than the “extended” promos they give us now with like, literally, a second and a half of new footage.

Can’t wait for this episode. Kind of want next Thrusday to come later…. hiatuses suck. big time. Damon throwing bottle into the fireplace, Mikael biting Stefan? Klaus’ new plan? Tyler and Damon fighting? Never good when a werewolf and a vampire are having a fight. After tonight’s episode we learnt they were “here” before the vampires. I would laugh if Tyler is a descendant of Klaus.

So many thoughts in my head right now. I won’t even sleep tonight :)

Is there anyone here who knows what Elena says right before “Someone’s going to let their humanity get in the way, and that’s probably gonna be me?” I’ve listened to it about 20 times and I still can’t catch it..

I think she was just practicing her moves. Stefan, Damon and Mikael can’t kill Klaus, and she’s learning how to “wield a blade”. But then again, I’d be so happy if I was wrong. I miss Elijah so much (and it doesn’t help that he had, like, one line of dialogue in Ordinary People).

I can see Tyler end up being the descendent of Klaus’ real father, but that would suck, I hate Tyler when he switches sides. Rebeka switching sides would be awesome, and what happened to Katherine after Mikael bit her? When are Damon and Elena going to start flirting again!!

I´ve just rewatched the Canadian Promo. There are so many bits and pieces from so many scenes. Can you help me and find out who it is in the attached picture. It´s Mikael for sure and then, is it Elena or Katherine with the curled hair and the girl on the right side, is she just any girl, she looks scared.

after watching all 3 promos about like 20 times there are 3 things I am pondering about:
1)about Stef’s compulsion
Either he is faking it or he will betray the Scooby gang next week
2)what is the change of the plan which brings me to
3)Kat…will she be in MF next week or not

4)Elijah will be back next week

she was probably talking to klaus since she hangs up the phone hands it to stefan and then says “he bought it”

I think that when Klaus says “kill her” he means Rebekah.He looks betrayed and hurt.Since the dagger can’t kill Klaus what are they doing with it?Maybe Mikael thinks if he threatens to kill Rebekah with the dagger,Klaus will surrender and that’s why he says “you underestimated me”.Or maybe Mikael will threaten Klaus that he will kill Elena (hence,no more hybrids) but Klaus won’t put his hybrids’ survival over his own and he says “kill her” meaning Elena.
