Also Note that Caroline said the love between Elena and Stefan was epic, that’s her opinion. Elena herself has never said this!

They actually decided on it in S2 and Damon made a point back then of saying how rare it is. Besides, I don’t think any of these things that people are seeing as inconsistencies are holes in the plot, I think they are PART of the plot.

Hahah, i know you don’t care, i meant the forwood shippers, and if they broke up this time, i think it’d be for good…There’s only so much back and fourth you can do, before you have to move on, especially at that age….They’re all growing up in different directions. = ) I love it.

That’s why I didn’t trust the sincerity of his apology to Damon after telling him basically he was no good.

I do not believe that Vamplena would have been sired to Stefan. The feeling of protection and loving a person is very different from being in love with them.  Vamplena, said that she thinks she’s falling in-love with Damon, that is coming from Vamplena and it is huge.  She always said that she loved Stefan but, I do not remember her saying that she thought she was in-love with Stefan.  Big difference.  The fact that she “thinks” is big and the fact that she wanted to have a party with Bonnie and Caroline to break the news to them is tremendous.  I realize that many people want to see equality in the two brothers.  Unfortunately, there is little equality in the two.  I have doubts that they even have the same father.  I wish that L. J. Smith could be consulted about this and many other issues since they are her creation. 

• No, actually I think they’re making her out that way so she will be proven hypocritical when she does get involved with him. Perhaps it will be an eye opening experience for her regarding her past behavior. She needs to emotionally grow.

• I’m guessing Damon doesn’t really buy the sincerity of his apologies either based on the look he gave Stefan when Stefan apologized after saying Damon was wrong for Elena. When Damon looked back at him and said, “What did you say?” it was an irritated look he gave him like he couldn’t believe Stefan expected him to just accept an “I’m sorry” after such a hurtful dig.

You said it better. Yes, she is free now and she has eternity in front of her.  Life looks very different when you have your freedom.

 You can’t trust his apology any more than you can trust Caroline’s apology to Elena, since right afterwards she went home and did the same thing and talked about her to Stefan AGAIN.

Nope I agree. I feel like his apologies aren’t real but merely a manipulation tactic to make him appear to be the good guy. Caroline is too much of a busy body to listen to Elena and stay out of it. She almost told him about their sexcapade. So who’s friend is she really?
