Oh, goodness. If tonight’s episode Ghost World was meant to be a gift for longtime Vampire Diaries fans, what on earth is next week going to be? Check out the short promo for Ordinary People (EP308), next week’s Originals flashback episode. UPDATE: We know the promo moves super-fast, so we’ve added screencaps beneath the spoiler-cut.

Below you’ll find screencaps of the Original family and runes on the cave wall.

  • Naruto is awesome!

Questions regarding the Originals shall be answered next week. And God, let the time passes quickly.

I’ve said it once, I’ll say it again. There is something fishy going on
with Klaus. It’s not because he’s afraid of Mikael or him being the
strongest creature in the world. No. Every time I watched Klaus, I got
this sense that he’s hiding something. I just don’t know what it is.

So, his plan is to create a Hybrid army. Okay, fine. Go ahead and make
your cute puppies army, Klaus. After 1000 years of loneliness, why not?
You deserve it! Go search the wolves and make a pack of comrades for
himself with an extra special solution (Elena’s blood). He wanted to
create it so no one dares to challenge him. Thus, calling his ‘team’,
THE WINNING TEAM. Those who dare to infiltrate his army are either
suicide or plain stupid. And also, he doesn’t want to be Mr Lonely.

But, just as what Stefan asked, “Against who?” I’m more onto ‘against what?’ actually.

And then, the final scene of episode 7. I can say that the drawings are
kinda like a kid doodled on a wall because the drawings look kiddy and
fresh, not faded. Anyways… I’m not gonna argue about that. Let it be…

My point is, something happened. And yes, we’ll get answers in the next episode.

But think for a second. Why would Klaus wants to build a strong army
just to fight Mikael? (Assuming that Mikael is the Original daddy.) I
know Mikael is a vampire who hunts and eats vampires. He too can create
an army of… humans vampire hunters to fight against Klaus’s army. But
come on! Klaus has more power! He’s the strongest WEREPIRE in the world!
Klaus and his bitches… Ops! I mean witches, able to trap that badass
Original daddy and locked him in a coffin before. So, just form another
plan. I’m pretty sure Klaus can do it again if he wants to.

Where was I? Oh yes. The drawings. Let’s combine ideas of what we’ve seen.

Ah… The Old English language… I’m not history expert on the Vikings.
I’m not sure if Vikings used old English but I heard they are related
to the old Norse. Anyways, I’m pretty sure that the language written on
the wall is the Old English/ Anglo Saxon runes. Either way, they’re
under the proto- Germanic language. Same thing, I guess… Or maybe
slightly different. I’m no expert. (^_^)

Then, we have symbols! Sighed… This is the part where I wish Harvard Symbologist Robert Langdon
appears out of nowhere. Oh well… Since we have Alaric, we’re good
enough! The circle within circles symbolize witch. The sun above the
fangs (this is childish!) symbolize vampires. The dogs meaning wolves. And I could see a fruit and pizza- Ignore those.
But if you look carefully, there’s words written in ‘post it’ stating:
Wolf attack. There’s one big wolf and behind it is a pack of wolves. There’s a tree (not sure if it’s a White Oak tree.) Village people and a
demon? I’m positive it’s a demon. Look carefully on the last scene of
    episode 7.

Yes. These symbols tell a story.

So, before the Originals were made into vampires, they were just
ordinary people. And I know this has something to do with the reasons of
why they became vampires. NEXT WEEK EPISODE… (^_^)

Their village were attacked by werewolves. One way to counter attack
this and to outwit them is by giving themselves up to the higher power.
I’m not sure if a demon has something to do with this. Let’s ignore
that. Maybe this is the part where Esther cast a curse spell upon her
and her family. In order to protect them, they were made into vampires.

The after effect of being made into a vampire: Saint Nicklaus is a mix
blooded of werewolf and a vampire= Hybrids. The happy family tore apart.
Mikael was and still is angry. So obviously, the tale is going to be
explained why and how the family became vampires and how it broke apart in the next episode of TVD.

But let’s look at current situation. Why didn’t Klaus shred his siblings
bodies apart and throw them into the seven seas? He could shred
Mikael’s body apart when he was locked up in the coffin… but he
didn’t. Instead, he just stabbed his siblings and dumped them in coffins
and brought them along for a longest family road trip ever! Ugh… Such a drag.

I still believe he’s protecting them from someone… or something. Maybe
he still cares. Maybe he creates this ‘new army’ to defend himself and
his family against… something? An original werewolf, perhaps? Do note
that we haven’t heard that original side of it. They’re older than the
Originals vampires. Or maybe it’s a demon who spawned supernatural
    children such as werewolves.

I’m not sure. God, I hope I’m wrong. Let’s just hope I can get answers next week.

No you aren’t! I could use her as a drum and beat on her all day.But she looks very beautiful esp in those flashbacks, actually I think she lookedmuch better in the old days. Now she reminds me of a horny, spoiled pouting …I’m not going to use the word.

My heart is racing! I love historically laced episodes even if they sometimes get it wrong ;). So CAN NOT WAIT!

  • Lolass1

Mayyyn I hope they are Danish Vikings! :oP They were a pretty badass bunch of dudes (and cruel… and violent… but nevermind that :o)) and they actually ruled England (a couple of times) for quite a long time.

Oh, and I saw that someone said something about the language of the Vikings being old English… it was not! They spoke various forms of old Norse.

Ahem, I’m Danish and I have a thing for my murderous ancestors, sorry about that!

What do you mean ‘and that of the first Petrova’?

  • Anonymous

Seemingly the Original Family has some sort of special connection to the Petrovas. Maybe Klaus´s child, if it is his, was from the first Petrova. Just a guess. We have to wait and see.

the runes which are used are elder furthak which was used around 200-650 and the first everyone already guessed was Rebekah. the second is “h?lau” and i agree that the third must be “mikael” though i can’t read all of it. but it bother me that i can’t find the second rune in the second name anywhere and it is also used in Rebekah as a “k” but that isn’t what a k looks like in elder furthak which the rest of the runes are i have seen somthing that looks slightly like it in middelagerunes but it was used 400 years after the rest of the runes

I think the drawing with the question mark post-it on  represents a human heart.
