I really liked tonight’s episode. It was quite bittersweet and they’re already beginning to bring out the layers of the characters, which I think makes it interesting.

Excellent ep the 3rd week out. Seems like they’re stepping up their game here.

More excellent moments between the brothers & that really pulled me in. Very well done by Ian & Paul. Also, I am really loving Bonnie and the friendship between Elena/Bonnie. I hope we get more of them in the future because it’s swiftly becoming one of my favorite aspects of the show. I’m still very much enjoying Caroline & hope that she’ll soon be the frenemy to Elena I’ve come to love to hate from the books. ;) Also, I find I’m very invested in the portrayal of the Stefan/Matt dynamic. Stefan needs a dude to roll with & I’m hoping bromance blooms.

I’m still not much into the whole Jeremy/Vicky/Tyler thing but do like each of them singly enough to care on a tertiary level. Vicky still leads the pack though. I’m hoping for more as we progress through the season.

Finally, I liked the music choices (it wasn’t at all overbearing this week) & I think Kevin Williamson told the truth when he said that by the 3rd ep, the show is becoming its own sort of entity outside of the books… & I still love it! :D

i love tonights episode i love the part when damon tried to make elena kiss her but she had the necklace with the vervain in it and she slapped her. and i also loved the part where they were making out even though it was a dream. i hate that now that he invited him in and now he can come in any time and enter while shes asleep i just hope that she doesnt do what she did in the book not tell stefan how he harrasses her. i love tonights episode you can tell its getting better. :D

I actually knew that the touchdown was the best so go me. It was a great episode and shirtless brothers are always good. It was a double shirtless night for me but Dean didn’t cooperate although Sam did but at least I got three shirtless hotties. I really love Bonnie and Damon’s just funny. He should try out for cheerleading.

Hahaha! We’ll get there eventually I’m sure. :) We’re kinda just rolling with what makes us laugh with each new episode – though I think we might stick with text. The images gave us some problems last week. Next week’s poll might be tricky.

I really appreciated all the little nods to the readers in this ep – esp. the mention of druids! And it was good to see Stefan bate Damon with his humanity, and Damon immediately respond by being bad.

The episode was great, the best one yet! Keep up the great work. I liked the scene where Stefan gave the necklace to Elena.
