Always a possibility. We're just assuming that he's her father due to being listed under "Unpleasantville", knowing that he's making an appearance at some point soon, and also I seem to recall that the major Forbes in 1864 was a Sheriff. Logical, but as always it's IMDB so can easily be wrong.
