Any guess of what the secret weapon is???

  • eve

Sounds exciting. Poor Jenna she wanted the truth…not quite what she expected. Maybe the secret weapon is…they’ve figured out what Katherine/John/Isobel is really up to. They’ll turn it around on them. Or Katherine is somehow the secret weapon. The waiting…another clip please.

  • Candygirl9890

“Hidden in plain sight.” What does that mean? Ok, guys, I’m getting a little scared! That means that there might be a big reveal at the end of the episode. Please let Isobel be on Elena’s side. It would be too creepy if she were plotting against her own daughter.

  • Ginie

I think Katherine will impersonate Elena again… maybe secretly…

Maybe Damon and Stefan learn something new about the moonstone, which makes them realize they have a secret weapon with extraordinary power.
    …. just throwing out ideas…..

maybe john was claus all along lol

It could have something to do with the area in which hundreds of witches were burnt at the stake. I hate that period of time so very much.

  • Gertrud

Hidden in plain sight: am I launching it to far if I say that Petrova’s origin as a name comes from Greek Petros , that is “stone”? What if Elena is a sort of a “key” to free the power inside the moonstone? Well, probably a total nonsense….

  • Liz Hu

Not nonsense! I actually like your idea very much!

  • Sfinn85

I sooooooooooooo cannot wait to see this episode! Why is it only March 17th??? :-(

I really wish there was a way to make time move faster!

  • Sarah_Jenice

Well we know Damon and Stefan saw something in John Gilbert’s journal’s that they did not want Katherine to hear so I’m betting that’s the weapon. Can’t wait to find out what it is. I agree that I would not like it if Isobel is trying to hurt Elena. Damon and Stefan both retained loved for family so I would not like it if Isobel would be willing to kill her own daughter. I feel bad for Caroline. I really hope someone compels Matt to forget what he saw. That did not go well at all!

  • eve

Hi Sarah, I agree with you, makes perfect sense… I completely forgot about the journal. As for Matt and Caroline…I’m hoping he’s compelled to forget too.

I am still waiting for Isobel to find out that John took Ric’s ring, am hoping she does something very bad to John. I do like the idea that Elena has power that she does not know she has and that is involves the moonstone. Don’t know if I can survive 21 more days.

My second favorite show, White Collar, is gone until summer, but I am not having withdrawal this bad over it.

  • Heather

Maybe Katherine is the secret weapon somehow? Or something to do with Bonnie’s powers.

  • Anonymous

I think the area in which the witches were burned at the stake has everything to do with the place, but I think the moonstone is the weapon to use. Elijah did not need a werewolf. He wanted the specific place, his warlock, the moonstone and the sacrificial lamb (Elena). I think the moonstone is the “weapon” that the warlock was going to use once he harnessed the power of the spirits of the witches. The question will be whether or not Bonnie will be strong enough to harness that much power in order to use the “weapon”. I think the moonstone can be used in several different ways. (it is a multi-tasker). Damon and Stefan probably find out how valuable the moonstone really is when they read about it in John Gilbert’s journals. Thank God Damon has the moonstone now.

    Hi Rehabber,
Glad to hear from you. I can only say I want Alaric to get the ring back and am hoping Isobel gets it for him. If not, Alaric needs to knock John out and take the ring back. I would say John if treading on very thin ice right now. He is making enemies from all different directions.

I wanted to let you know I finally got to watch Marco Polo. I loved it! Ian as Marco Polo with an Italian accent and as the narrator with an Italian accent was awesome. The scene between Marco (Ian)and Temulun (Desiree Ann Siahaan as his wife) was pretty hot while she was rubbing the oil on his chest. I actually backed it up and watched that scene a couple of times. I am so naughty. Also, Ian can definitely use a sword. It was very sad what happened to Temulun and her sister, Kensai. Anyway, I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed it. I have tried to find “Changing Hearts”, but have been unsuccessful. Not even Amazon has it in stock.. (whaa!)

I think Matt has been on vervain since the episode “Masquerade”, which means Caroline cannot compel him. I just hope he does not turn against Caroline. That would make 2 guys (Tyler and Matt) completely unworthy of her friendship.

  • Anonymous

Actually Gertrude, you may be on to something….. I think the secret weapon is the moonstone and the origin is somehow related to the Petrova clan.

  • Anonymous

Round two…. vote for our Vampire Diaries guys!!!!

HI Sarah, I think what Damon & Stefan saw in Johnathan Gilbert’s journal was the location of where the witches were burned. As to Matt, he’s been on vervain since Masquerade, so I don’t think he can be compelled…more’s the pity:(

  • Anonymous

Hi GP-Maybe Bonnie uses the moonstone to harness the power of her ancestors (the burnt witches), hence the “secret weapon”? Just speculating….since we know the moonstone was used to seal the original curse, could it also be used to gather the power of the dead witches? You mentioned below that Elijah wasn’t interested in the werewolves, just the moonstone, the witch burial ground (for their magic), the doppelganger and a witch/warlock….

  • Anonymous

I wonder if Isobel has been compelled by Klaus and can’t help herself….that would be even creepier!

  • Anonymous

Hey GP, you can find Changing Hearts on half.com, but try and get the old version made in 2003 and 93 minutes. The newer version is 96 minutes and they cut out the best scene, not sure how it got to be longer with it being cut but that is what is shows. I saw it first from Netflix and when I bought it, it was the new one. I ended up buying 3 copies before I got the old one. Ian is awesome in it. The version you want looks like the picture they have on the page, the new one is a different cover, so if the description says different cover same movie…NOT.

Had to laugh about the hot scene in Marco Polo, I also backed up and watched it again. Guess I am just a dirty OLD woman. lol. They could have done a better job with the beard, very fake looking.

I can’t believe Neil Patrick Harris is beating Steven and House is beating Green Arrow, Justin Hartley is so hot, he is the reason I watch Smallville. I don’t watch Grey’s Anatomy, but that guy is beating Michael Trevino.

  • Andrea

Hey, what do you think about this:
“Stelenamon” – what have they got? They have
+a witch with her own power back plus the power of dying-Jonas; she said I know how to kill Klaus = an original…
+from the JG-journals the place of hundreds of murdered witches back then, ergo a very powerfull witch ….
+ the dagger and ash of an white oak-tree – ok don´t pull the dagger out, I know, but Bonny knows how to kill an original ….
    = secret weapon …?
Maybe they can use Elijah too instead of killing him, because his only interest was to kill Klaus … ( and afterwards?) – I´d love to have Elijah back although I´m scared of him …
I think the main intention of uncle John and Isobel is to get all vampires out of Elena´s life, especially Klaus on one hand and the beloved Salvatores on the other. What John would do afterwards to the vampire mother … nobody knows and will know, becaus he won´t succeed…
I wonder if they would have an interest of breaking the sun-and-moon-curse, when it is possible to do without the sacrifice of a human life ( maybe some blood of the doppelgänger is enough) ..

This site shortens the hiatus for me, thanks for all – love it and the VD People (sorry for my german-english-denglish)

  • 1864Vamps

Hi :) Does anyone know what you have to download to be able to reply to people’s commants?
    Thanks :)

  • Anonymous

    Hi 1864Vamps,
I downloaded Mozilla Firefox (it is free) in order to “reply”. Internet explorer is not compatible. I think someone also said Google Chrome will work.

  • laney

i watched a version of changing hearts on youtube. not sure if it is still there – this was last fall

  • laney

I use google chrome – i used to be in the same boat you are in and it sucked. lol!

  • 1864Vamps

Thank you! I am now using Google Chrome!

  • 1864Vamps

    Thank you!

  • 1864Vamps

That’s what I was thinking! Can you remember when Uncle John told Damon if Isobel accomplished what she was attempting Klaus would never come to Mystic Falls? Maybe she found Klaus but he compelled her and he is using her to get to Elena!

  • Anonymous

I have used Firefox for years and it is much faster than IE.

  • Anonymous

In truth, I’ve been very worried about that for a while now. Based on what Uncle John told Damon, Isobel was going after Klaus. I’m not sure how much we can believe Uncle John, but he could have been telling the truth…although he didn’t elaborate on what it was Isobel was trying to do.

Let’s face it, Isobel isn’t that old in vampire years….why would she go after Klaus all on her own? If she found him, why would he let her live? I’m amazed she showed up alive and well in Mystic Falls at all…..we’ll have to wait and see, but it’s highly probable she was sent back to Mystic Falls by Klaus to gather information for him before he hits town. After all, info gathering is what she does best:)

  • 1864Vamps

As you said Isobel is best at gathering info, so surely she would know Originals can compel vampires? Also we have seen Isobel and she doesn’t look stupid enough to go after the oldest vampire in history,on her own.

I agree with you about if she found him, I’m surprised that she is alive. But another possibility is that she has come to tell everyone that Klaus is on his way, because she could be drinking vervain like nearly every vampire in Mystic Falls? I think it would be interesting if she has been compelled but I don’t think she is stupid enough to go after Klaus unprepared, I think her and Uncle John would have found everything out about Klaus before going after him :)

  • Elena

    The secret weapon could be: Isobel? Katherine? Elena pretending to be Katherine? The Gilbert Device? Bonnie’s new powers? Umm… Elijah comes back to life and he is doing whatever they say? Tyler comes back to town? Elena doing something awesome? Stefan and Damon find something? Stefan and Damon’s . . . well. You know(;

  • Anonymous

Very good point 1864 Vamps- surely she wouldn’t be that stupid to go after him all on her own without preparing first….but here’s the thing, has she had enough time to build up enough vervain in her system to keep from being compelled by Klaus? Is the rules the same when a vampire ingests vervain? I know when a human ingests it, it works, but how about a vampire? It took Katherine, who in vamp years in a whole heck of a lot older than Damon, Stefan & Isobel, years to build up a tolerance for vervain in her system. And she did that so nobody could knock her out by giving her vervain, not so she COULDN’T BE COMPELLED. Damon & Stefan have just started drinking it. We’re not sure if Isobel ever has, we will have to wait and see. But have those three had the time to build up enough of a tolerance to it? I think not, considering how long it took Katherine. Also considering that the young wolf pup just took a syringe which was full of vervain, pumped Damon full of it, and out like a light Damon went. (Crying Wolf).

Hmmm…..more questions which need to be answered:)

  • 1864Vamps

That’s a good point, I hadn’t thought about if the vervain didn’t stop vampires being compelled if they ingest it. Katherine said that she wasn’t going to be caught off guard again she that’s why she started drinking vervain (Memory Lane), but she has never said anything about it stopping vampires compelling other vampires.

I know there are so many questions that need answering, can’t wait till April 7th:)

  • Anonymous

you are so right…. Firefox is much faster than Internet Explorer.

  • Anonymous

Exactly:) What are the rules regarding Original Vampire & Human turned Vampire compulsion……Hmm…April 7th seems so far away:)

Maybe aunt Jenna is gonna surprise us all. Shes the wild card. I feel like she’s not as innocent as portrayed. Just guessing here. Also PLEASE dont kill Caroline. I think the tragic end is that Caroline looses both Matt and Tyler. They have set both of them up for this- They have both seperated from their families and this would be devastating Caroline, maybe making her evil?
