Teen Choice Awards: 9 Nominations for The Vampire Diaries & Cast!

Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley The 2011 Teen Choice Awards have released their first set of nominations, and The Vampire Diaries and its actors are nominated nine times! Voting runs from now through August 4, and winners will be announced on the Teen Choice Awards show, which will air live on FOX on Sunday, August 7. Only teens are allowed to vote, but you can vote every day, so have at it! The nominations, via Zap2it:

Ugh, cannot believe the cut off for voting is 19 years old…I’m 26 and would have voted TVD in all the categories just to help them win! Kind of sucks, but guess all the people young enough to vote will have to do it for the rest of us =)

I total agree with you! Unfortunately for kat her character was liked or disliked throughtout the season. But Candices character grew in season 2 and surpass kat in popularity. Proof of that is on the this site Caroline was voted 4th in very close race with Katherine and Elena for MVP of season 2. Bonnie wasn’t even in the running. Don’t get me wrong I like Bonnie but I just think they messed up on the nomination.

When you register to vote just choose any year between 1992 and this year for your year of birth. For example, I put my year of birth as 1997 even though I was born in 1985. :-)

no offence to kat and all her fans… but i personally think candixe accola more desrve to be nominated there instead of her… caroline is really the best female scene stealer in TVD.
