The Vampire Diaries Cast The first round of nominations for the Teen Choice Awards are out, and The Vampire Diaries and its cast has six nominations this year!

Choice TV Actor: Fantasy/Sci-Fi: Ian Somerhalder
Choice TV Actor: Fantasy/Sci-Fi: Paul Wesley
Choice TV Actress: Fantasy/Sci-Fi: Nina Dobrev
Choice TV Actress: Fantasy/Sci-Fi: Kat Graham
Choice Male Hottie: Ian Somerhalder

I hope Paul wins. He has to!!! I mean Damon might be my favorite character but I think that Paul really deserves it. As much as I love & adore Ian I think that it’s Paul’s turn. He’s a phenomenal actor who plays Stefan Salvatore really well. Whether he is being loving, compassionate, or a heartless jerk Paul portrays him really well. He deserves it sooo much! ♥

Jeremy is the hottest guy on the show. They are all hot but, I love Jeremy. He is so matter of fact and cute.

Even if or show wins, i am sure our actors are gonna loose. The votes are bound to split. Itll go 50/50 paul and ian and 50/50 nina and kat. Thats how we lost the best vampire last year to edward. Nina ian and paul were nominated in the same catagory.

Yeahh but the actors are quite seriously gonna loose, if paul was a serious contender this year then ian shouldn,t be nominated at all. It just sucks cause the fans are easily devided by these two really hot and talented guys.

Both are very talented but unfortunately only one can win. In the end it does come down to who we each favor regardless of what happened in the season. That’s not to say that people don’t think the other did a fabuolus job acting. It’s just that we may see things our favorite guy did differently than he’d done in the past that we feel is so awesome because we pay so much more attention to that actors performance.

Why are people in particular PW fans campaigning against Nina winning? Paul deserves to win
more than Ian this year but why Kat over Nina? People said Ian
didn’t do much this season but then Kat didn’t do much compared to Nina either
yet they saying she has to win instead of Nina. I really don’t get
it…

People are always going to vote for the actor they like. What I find really annoying is the reason why some are openly voting against Nina.

I hadn’t heard why they’re voting against Nina I guess because I’m too old to vote I hadn’t payed attention. I agree with your other statement above that Kat really didn’t do much this year. She barely had a storyline. As for voting against Nina I’m guessing some are basing their opinion on the messed up track they had her character following this season but she didn’t have control over the storyline. Keep in mind that this is a teen voting pool so they’re reasons for voting are different than an adults. I mean I love Ian and hated how quickly they turned Paul’s character around BUT I can appreciate that as an actor he did a good job with what he had to work with.
