Happy October! The fourth episode of The Vampire Diaries, Family Ties, airs tonight on the CW at 8/7c. Miz Nina Dobrev says, “This one’s all about answering your questions.” You guys had some great questions on Twitter earlier, so maybe this time tomorrow you’ll have your answers. (Here’s ours: You’re going to try and smuggle some vervain onto Caroline, right, Stefan? RIGHT? Also: When is someone going to notice that the bunny population of Mystic Falls is being severely depleted?) We’ll also be meeting some parents and other townsfolk, ogling some lovely dresses and snazzy suits, and learning s’more about Mystic Falls. Excited yet?
In the meantime, satiate your thirst for spoilery goodness with Family Ties tidbits (and start talking over in the forum!):
Big thanks to Michael Trevino for the heads up that Kayla Ewell will be appearing on CBS’ The Early Show this morning (October 1st) – we’re not sure when (the program is two hours), but tune in and we’ll keep an eye out for the clip online. Maybe there will be another sneak peek at Family Ties? UPDATE: I only caught the second hour and no Kayla. Anyone see this?
A very special request this week:
There were quite a few complaints about screwed-up sound during Friday Night Bites airings last week. If you are having problems with sound (or have excessive skipping/stuttering/glitches), please comment to this post or reply to @julieplec on Twitter with the following information:
- Your CW affiliate and city
- Whether you have cable, DirectTV, antenna, etc.
- Optional (but helpful if you know): Whether your station broadcasts in 5.1 Dolby sound.
We’ll have a reminder in the poll post, too, later today, that will link here. The show deserves to be seen in the best possible quality and this information can help ensure you’re experiencing it that way. Thanks in advance!
