TONIGHT – Vampire Diaries: Ghost World (EP307 Encore) Airs at 9/8c

Feeling something spooky in the air? Tonight the CW continues its look back at season three with Ghost World (EP307). Just a reminder: Reruns are airing an hour later than the show’s normal timeslot, so tune in at 9/8c tonight! Season four premieres on Thursday, October 11.

A few good things about Ghost World.

Ana tells us: The humans stole Mystic Falls from the vampires.
It defined the parameters between the paranormal world and the physical world. Some vampires move on and some are on the “other side” alone keeping tabs on the physical world but are not able to make contact or become physical beings.

Through Grams we know that the witches make all of the rules. Grams also, explained the significance of the necklace as being Esther talisman and how she could wedge the door open from the other side through the necklace.

We get to see how bad ass Caroline can be when she takes on the tomb vampires.

When the necklace reappears, I really thought we’d somehow get rid of that last tidbit “the necklace” from season 1. However, the necklace is laying in a cave, and Esther still has a foothold into this realm because it is her talisman. We have not seen the last of Esther.

Ghost World was not the best of episodes but it was an episode of enlightenment. Mason Lockwood is still hot even as a ghost.
