I read the books two years before the show was aired. I like where they are going with the show, although even in the books I wanted Elena to be with Damon. I was intriqued with the idea of Elena being sired to Damon. It was like a shock factor, totally unpredictable. I am anxious to see what this new evil is…is it possible they are bringing in the kitsunes already? I think that might make something interesting to have the Original family and the kitsunes. Make this a total power struggle. An absolute all out war. See how Klaus would adapt to having a creature stronger than him around. Also a little more detail on the vampire sire bond would be appreciated. And this Professor Shane needs his intentions out in the open already! It’s driving me crazy.

Hi, can you please tell me what a kitsune is?
The word is not in my dictionary and always wondered in the book what they might be. (I read the book in english, but I’m not a native english speaker.)
