I really like Caroline on the show. She is gorgeous! Though I feel bad for her, she has been used and abused. I like that she goes after what she wants. I don’t like when she is treated/dismissed from people as if what she says means very little. Looking forward to how Caroline is going to do in season 2. I just wish that she would get what she wants sometimes and would get respect. Why is it when a gal go after what she wants, says the wrong thing, hurts someones feelings etc… she is a b—-. Whereas when a guy go after what he wants he is the greatest. Bottom line we(myself and friends) are huge Caroline fans.

I don’t understand why there are so many Caroline fans.
She is not the big victim or sympathetic figure that she appears to be. She is completely superficial and petty.
People hate Matt because of her. Matt never crossed the line with Elena and he has not deliberately hurt her. She is just a shallow blonde who is jealous of Elena. Her character has had the least development and is the least complex. What drives me nuts, is that Jeremy plays the victim card when he has done bad things ( like steal older Vicki from Tyler), provokes fights ( then acts like Tyler is such a bully), and shows no concern for others except for himself & his love interest. Caroline and Vicki were the same way. All they do is whine and act like they are so
abused. They need to play up Caroline’s personality up in the show instead of always projecting that the audience needs to root for her when she is just self-absorbed and overreacts to everything.

I have a feeling Caroline will betray Matt with either Jeremy or Tyler. I hope it is Jeremy. I like Tyler and don’t want him to be bastardized. I also think it would be out of character for the show to make Matt cheat because he is supposed to be a nice guy.

Candice is average-looking and the worst actress on the show. I don’t find Candice or Caroline that likable or interesting. Both the character and actress come off as insincere, fake, and as lacking in substance. Caroline was more of a villian in the books. I also can’t stand how Candice is covering up the controversy about her personal life. She had been two-timing her boyfriend for a long time with Steven R. Mcqueen while he was also dating somebody else…then they just cover up their affair. Most fans don’t know the details or they reject it as gossip when it is the truth. People just want to believe all of the TVD cast is lovable and respectable when they are not. I predict Caroline will be killed off at the end of this season. She also used her photographer boyfriend to get more photoshoots and publicity.

Hey, Tanya? If you don’t like Caroline as a character, that’s fine, but this really isn’t the place to be harping on the actors’ personal lives. It’s none of our business. And, frankly, we’re not interested in having this stuff end up in our inbox. Thanks.
