Hello from Nashville!
We’re going into the second day of the convention, but I wanted to give you all a couple notes and some information, so nobody gets blindsided today.
First, ten thousand apologies for the sudden deluge of tweets from @tvdnews, totally should have given more warning, especially with the pre-Nashville post coming on Season Premiere Thursday the way it did. Truly sorry if the rain of tweets startled anyone or spammed up your TL, I’ll try to be a little more restrained today.
A note about the live tweets – guys, I’m not a professional journalist. I’m doing my best to give you some highlights from the panels, but please remember that these are not personal interviews. The actors are sharing stories and speaking in a conversational format, so it’s very challenging to separate out tweetable bits. It’s a lovely experience and I hope you all get to do it some day, but please bear in mind that I’m tweeting from my Blackberry (no keyboard!) in a large dark room with our delightful cast up on stage being awesome. There are going to be typos and errors, the English language is probably crying in a corner somewhere from what I’ve been doing to it all weekend. Bear with me! :)
I will be continuing to live-tweet panels and tidbits from the con today, but I am only live-tweeting the actors when they’re officially up on stage. In any situation where they’re just visiting with fans, such as the party last night or the private meet & greet sessions, I’m keeping my phone in my purse out of respect for the setting, the actors, and the other fans.
LIVE TWEET SCHEDULE for Q&A Sessions
8:45am – Michael Trevino
12:00pm – Paul Wesley
3:10pm Zach Roerig
All times are USA Central Standard Time and may be shifted a little, things are mostly on time around here but convention times are rarely exact. I’ll be blogging a full review of the con early in the week, so keep an eye out for it! I’m looking forward to telling you all about this event.
