I think Sage was a man.He was a vampire,but Elena sensed he was actually an Original.He never denied nor confirmed it!

Ha,ha.Glad to ‘meet’ a book fan. Elena used the term ‘Original’.Klaus used both terms in the 4th book.;))

yay Cassidy will be awesome in this show. Here’s hoping to bring Tom Welling someday, too.

I never read the books so I don’t know anything about a Sage character, but I’m so excited for her! I love Cassidy she’s a great actress. I loved her on Smallville, atleast in season 8 and 10.  She’s so much fun and her personality(actress,not her characters) is great! She’ll be a great addition to the team.:)

LOL I can’t believe Sage is a girl! xD They probably figured there’s enough of hot guys on the show already. But it’s gonna be hard not to laugh x)

Sage is one of Damon´s friends in the books, interesting that  they cast a woman for this character, it would be nice if she´d become a friend for Damon, too. Sometimes he seems to be fighting a loosing battle with a brother whose humanity switch has been fried, a human, fragile almost girfriend every supernatural entity in town wants to have hold on – living or dead-, and with friend whose eternity ring runs on low battery. So every kind of ally should be highly welcome.

She’s beautiful. Might add spice in Damon’s love life?
