Yeah you’re right. Katherine would definitely rather torment her. She proved that in S2. That’s why she was always trying to drive a big fat wedge between her & Stefan. Since she couldn’t kill her, torment was the next best thing! Selfish girl! I love her! lol=)

When you made that comment about history repeating, Stefan told Damon that they wouldn’t be doing that (in S1 I believe) and he used those exact words. In Memory Lane when Stefan & Katherine were having their little heart to heart, Katherine made him remember that she hadn’t compelled his love for her. He did that of his own free will and he was not happy when he finally realized that. Remember he told her whatever feelings he had for her had turned to hate. I liked that she told him “love/hate was such a fine line and that she would wait for him.” Well if he could hate her that much, he must still have some unresolved feelings buried deep within him somewhere! When she left town this time around, he was still trying to doubt her love for him. But she told him that she loved him & Damon both otherwise she wouldn’t have given up her chance to let them kill Klaus and she missed her old Stefan. Hopefully he believed her this time. I can’t wait for her to come back so we can see what happens!

I’m sure no one here needs me to raise my hand about being one of the Delena fans you have to hold together. Hahaha. A 5-6 year wait for them to be together would be brutal. I don’t have the patience for that. Maybe I’ll have to make up my own story for them in my head. LOL. Go to your happy place. ;)

Like Katherine I don’t believe Stefan doesn’t still have feelings for her. Maybe he just keeps trying to tell himself he doesn’t because he doesn’t want to be played by her again. Funny thing though is she has consistently told him she loves him unlike how she flat out told Damon she never loved him which she recanted later but only to Stefan. Her feelings toward him are more unwavering. Well for now she is M.I.A.

Matty can’t die in a truck wreck, can he? Everyone else got a fancy death. Matt should get one, too, I say. :) Meredith. Of course! That’s very interesting. That would be so sad if that happened with Damon. Oh man, I would probably be crying way too loudly. “Waaaa-heh-heh-heh!” lol. Yeah, he’s already force-fed her his blood to save her. Why would they do that again? It’s another been-there-done-that thing. Who do you think should give her the human blood? Stefan? Haha. Then she can be p’d at HIM. lol. Although, maybe he wouldn’t, because he did that to Damon…The episode guide says, Determined to protect his sister, Jeremy makes a decision that will change everything. What do you think? Human blood donor or something before that? Maybe he’ll be the one who gives her the vampire blood, or gives Meredith the okay… It’s kinda funny doing all this thinking about Elena turning, when that might not be at all what the episode is about. It seems like there are less spoilers this year. Anyways… :)

Also, and this is still for ihatepeople, now you’ve got me fantasizing about her choosing Damon, and then him letting her die because of how much he loves her. :( That would take me a while to recover from watching. … And that thing I said about Stefan giving her blood is something I don’t think would happen. Because, yeah, I agree with what you said about him being the savior. That’s the goal, keep DE apart, and drip-feed the DE fans to keep our hopes up. It’s torture! It’s just absolute torture. lol.

I know the whole scenario is heartbreaking but they seem like to do that to us. Hell I sobbed last year when Damon was on his deathbed. That scene still makes me cry and I know what happens! I can’t take credit for the Meredith thing. Someone else here brought her up but it’s a definite possibility if Elena is hospitalized. Wow I didn’t even think about Jeremy giving her HB because he doesn’t want to lose her. Bonnie even? Stefan wouldn’t for sure. It would be too predictable to have Damon do it. Beside for once can we please NOT make him the bad guy?

I know what you mean about Matt. If they take him out at least have it be in a blaze of glory. :) who knows if he’ll actually die but it doesn’t look promising for him. Hope he can swim.

That scenario is about what i’d expect them to do to us. As you mentioned keep DE apart and “drip-feed the DE fans to keep our hopes up”. Feels like it most of the time doesn’t it? I’m not sure I can take more heartache for Damon.

I don’t get the remote at my house. Hahaha. Actually I have other TVs but I only watch a few programs. I was happy back when Cameron and Chase got together on House. Hmmm I know I’ve waited a long time for some couple in the past but for the life of me I can’t recall. It must have been a LONG time ago when I watched TV more. I must be spending too much time on true crime. :)

I was watching the season 1 ep today during my workout where they opened the tomb and Katherine wasn’t in there. Then Anna tells him Katherine knew where he was but didn’t come for him. He was so heartbroken. Their running theme. How sad. :(

lol. Yeah, I hope so, too. … And why does it seem like Stefan always get the hero award? I mean, maybe it’s just the hair that people get confused by, but if I counted how many times it was Damon who was there for her, and not Stefan, I’d get the urge to smack her until she wakes the heck up. She’s so hard on him. She seems to overlook all the good he does, worrying about what it says about her to choose him. Seriously? Anyway, that’s a whole other thing. :)

I sometimes feel confused by why Stefan seems to be the one I’m suppose to think of as the good guy. The one who deserves Elena. The one she’s not ashamed to be with. To me, it feels like Damon’s story is sadder. It seems like he loved Katherine more. He did. That’s what they’ve shown me. And can you imagine loving someone that much for that long and then you find out she loves your brother more? You’ve been mourning her for so many years only to get your heart broken. Then imagine how Damon would have felt seeing Elena for the first time. I’m sure he would have wanted to know her even more than Stefan. And then Stefan gets her, too. I mean, what the heck. Get out of the way Stefan. I do like Stefan. He’s hot, he’s adorable, and I cry when they break up and when she tells him to hold on. But I have felt Damon’s pain more often, and I need him to get a happy ending, not be torched to save the world or whatever. He deserves to be the one who is loved for once.

hopefully we don’t get Damon’s heartbroken because i don’t think ANYONE is capable of handling another heartbreak on Damon’s behalf. It hurts TVD writers, its truly does.

The owner of the house wants to sell. The house is only used for filming scenes on the front porch, the front lawn, the sidewalk and street in front of the house. This house on the inside looks nothing like what we see on TVD. The interior scenes we see of the Gilbert house is actually filmed at the studio stages in Decatur, GA. The owner wanting to sell his home has nothing to do with what is going on with the TV show. TVD does not rent the houses, families actually live in them. There is an exception, which is the Klaus mansion. The interior scenes are actually filmed inside the Evander Holyfield home in Fayetteville, Ga. The “witch” house is an actual abandoned house in Covington, Ga not too far from the Covington square. It has a long driveway leading up to it and is very very scary looking. The 1864 Salvatore home recently sold and is being renovated to be used as a Bed & Breakfast. Pretty much all the outside filming is done in and around the Covington square. Most of the homes (Elena’s, Caroline’s, Matt Donovan, Gram’s, the Lockwood Mansion) that are used in filming are actually on the side streets running off the Covington square.

Bottom line, Covington Ga has a lot of beautiful homes with large veranda porches on them. It will not be a problem if the new owners do not want film crews on their front lawn.

Funny thing is I’m not someone who typically cries at something I think is sweet or happy. I usuaslly only cry at sad things. Maybe because i’d like to see something happen but I think they’ll always keep them tragically apart.

I just posted something an hour ago about how Stefan has abandoned her a few times even if it was because he thought he was protecting her. She did ok without him. Damon left her for a few hours to take a road trip with Katherine and she couldn’t manage without him. She wanted to know where he was. That’s when he promised to never leave her again. He never has had her as his girl but he has never left her even when she hurt him he still saved her. He’s had to watch her with his brother but protecting her was more important than leaving her because she didn’t want him. How does she not see this? And this thing you mentioned about her being concerned about what people will think about her if she is with Damon. Who cares? She is thinking like a teenager not an adult. It should matter more that SHE knows what he is like inside and to Hell with anyone who disagrees. She didn’t seem to care so much what her friends thought when she found out Stefan was a vampire. She still dated him. She needs to realize people aren’t always what they seem on the surface. Sometimes you have to dig deeper to see the diamond.

Damon’s story IS sadder. I think that’s why so many people can identify with him. I won’t say Stefan hasn’t suffered because he has but overall things have come easier for him (except for the blood lust) because he isn’t as sensitive. He operates on logic. Damon’s father labled him a disappointment because Damon disagreed with what his father thought was a worthy cause (the war). Damon thought for himself and wasn’t his father’s puppet so he was never good enough. He falls in love with Katherine and is willing to turn so he can spend eternity with her. She manipulates his heart and two times with his brother. He begs Stefan to keep Katherine’s secret from their father only to be betrayed by Stefan because Stefan thought he was doing the right thing. Damon risks everything and dies by his own father’s hand trying to save the woman he loves. Thinking she is dead he doesn’t want to turn but is coerced into it by his brother. He spends 145 years longing and waiting for his love only to hear the harsh words from her that she never loved him only Stefan. Present day he meets his loves doppleganger and risks his life over and over to save her because he loves her only to be reminded that it will always be Stefan by everyone around him. Seriously how can one man’s life be this tragic? I keep waiting for the karmic justice to kick in and FINALLY let him be the one who is choosen above Stefan to be loved. We might be waiting a long time for that one because they only give him small doses of happiness only to pull it away later.

I know right? That’s why he shut himself off emotionally all those years to protect himself from the hurt and future pain. It couldn’t be more apparent than when he told Elena he doesn’t show people the good because they’ll expect it and he can’t live up to it. It hurts more to try to please and fail than to never try. I get that. :(
