There’s not much news this holiday week, but this video from TV Guide is hilarious enough to make up for it. Nina Dobrev, Joseph Morgan, Ian Somerhalder, Steven McQueen, and Candice Accola play Shag, Marry, Stake among various sets of characters on the show, and they really put a lot of thought into it. I just got the worst news…our CW affiliate TV station here in Atlanta, Channel 69, decided, in it’s brilliance (sarcasm), to air a FOOT BALL game instead of TVD at 8:00! I mean, really?

TVD will air, but not till 11:30 pm. That sucks because I have to get up a 4:30 to go to work Friday morning! Arghhhhhhhhhh!

What a B U M M E R!!!

This is the first time the local CW affiliate Channel 69 has ever aired a football game, or any sports event. Typically that is left up to ABC, NBC, Fox or ESPN. I’m really surprised at this one, especially since Channel 69 has been so supportive of The Vampire Diaries and the cast & crew. They were even at Ian’s ISF fundraising event last year. Airing TVD at 11:30 after the game isn’t really helping folks that have to get up early and go to work or school, especially the folks that have to be up at 4:30 am like you. Evil Alternative – just call in sick on Friday…. suddenly all Atlanta TVD fans came down with the flu. Maybe Channel 69 will cover the epidemic it caused.

I’m so NOT happy over this. :(
