Vampire Diaries TV SeriesAfter a determined push to finish come what may, Marcos Siega and Julie Plec have tweeted to say that filming wrapped for the Vampire Diaries pilot last night. Everyone involved seems to have enjoyed the entire experience and are pleased with the footage they have. Katerina Graham (Bonnie) twittered when she wrapped on the 16th to say that she’d had one of the best experiences of her life. Hopefully the enthusiasm and hard work that everyone has obviously put into making this pilot will pay off. Now we just have to wait patiently for the finished product.

Good luck with the editing phase, guys! We hope it goes smoothly for you.

Woot woot! Can’t wait to see it! :D Hopefully it lives up to the books (as much as movies/shows based on books ever can, at least).

I can’t wait! Eager to see how everything turned out. Sounds awesome ;)

I don’t really like how far the series has deviated from the books, but I’m willing to give it a chance.

It should be interesting to watch!
