The Vampire Diaries TV Series It’s a date! Thanks to Carina MacKenzie (@cadlymack on Twitter) for confirming that The Vampire Diaries returns to the CW on Thursday, September 9th.

I doubt the UK will get it until next year, unless a miracle occurs that ITV2 is able to acquire the rights before then.

It depends on how quickly ITV2 can acquire the rights to it, but I don’t really see it starting until early next year.

Omg, i thought it was supposed to be out on the 9th September? For me it hasn’t come out yet!! Dx I think it is sometime in October, because it said when the last Episode of Season One was finished, that it would be returining in October. Not sure about the date yet though. I just cannot believe i got all excited and ended up being disappointed.

ITV2 did say at the end of the last episode of season 1 that they would be showing season 2 in autumn
