An interview with Sara Canning can be found over at The Province, where she talks about her career so far, including a snippet about her role as Aunt Jenna.
While filming Black Field, Canning found out that the CW network had agreed to film 13 episodes of Vampire Diaries, which stars Toronto’s Nina Dobrev as an orphaned teen romantically torn between two vampire brothers.
“Then it was anxiously waiting to make sure they were going to keep my character,” says Canning, who plays the teen’s young aunt, “which is totally weird because Nina’s only a year younger than me.”
