Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God! Ok… I’ll calm myself down! But, I’m just sooooo excited! I wish they wouldn’t make a break on the show!

This is obviously quite early on in the episode. Damon is still reading the grimoire and Stefan has just returned from searching for Elena. It’s probably the least spoilery one they could find as you kind of knew this conversation between the brothers Salvatore was inevitable.

    Oh my god! D:

  • Mia

    Oooh love the tention.

  • Tiffany

I liked the clip. I agree that this part probably take place in the beginning of the show. I also don’t believe that Damon really wants Elena to die, he is just trying to irritate Stefan.

    FINALLY A CLIP!!!

Oh my gooooosssshhhh!! So much hurt and pain. I can’t wait to watch it!!!
If that’s early on in the episode, (and I do agree that it is), imagine what other crazy stuff is still in store.
    Why isn’t it Thursday yet?

    OMG OMG OMG ::thud::

I really love how Damon’s voice kinda goes when he accepts Stefan’s apology. Yayay for Ian’s acting chops!! <3
Also I think, Damon hopes Elena dies in the sense that she'll come back undead just like them.

  • Kelly

OMG how much do u wanna bet he’ll go searching for Elena or Bonnie on his own since he needs her to open the tomb.

Oh, I definitely agree. This was a smart thing as to not give anything truly important away. It is inevitable that Stefan is going to talk to Damon and try to seek his help.

If anything, when Damon said that he hopes Elena’s dies, I doubt that has to do with returning undead… it is like Tiffany commented that it’s more to irritate Stefan.

An apology means more when it isn’t tied to an exterior motive. Even though Damon accepted Stefan’s seemingly long overdue apology, he has to be irked by the reason behind its sudden arrival. I agree, though, that he doesn’t really want Elena to die. He wouldn’t have lingered, taking in the scent of her hair, and gently guided her to Stefan in the last episode if he really felt hatred toward her. He’s just bitterly disappointed that she sided with Stefan and lied.

I agree that this bit seems to show that Stefan is only apologizing because he wants Damon’s help; and I agree that Damon can’t see it other way. But if we connect this bit with the end of the episode 13, we can see that Stefan told Elena he assumes the guilt for Damon losing Katherine. In that moment, before Elena is kidnapped, he decided to assume Damon holds understandable reasons for hating him, and probably he was to apologize anyway. But as Elena as taken and he needed Damon’s help, the two things were tied up and the impression wasn’t the best.

I have the thought that Stefan is really messed up with his actions… he usualy tries to do something good and noble and most times things get all wrong way. LOL.

God I love this show, but man, another hiatus. That’s harsh.

  • Denise Stoltenberg

Yeah, groveling for forgiveness and in the very next breath asking for help isn’t necessarily the best way to go about currying favor! Stefan needs a little strategy lesson. You don’t massively insult somebody and then ask them to do something for you.
