Well, we tried to be spoiler-free on Twitter, but that went out the window once the cast and production team started tweeting their thanks – sorry, West coasters! In case you’re not on Twitter (le gasp!), everyone will be happy to know that you voted Vampires Diaries Favorite New TV Drama in the 2010 People’s Choice Awards. Nice job! The award was presented by Greg Grunberg (Heroes) and Kathryn Morris of Cold Case, who added a nice personal touch to proceedings as a lot of Vampires Diaries‘ crew used to work on Cold Case. They accepted the award on behalf of Vampire Diaries since, as you all know, cast and crew are back filming new episodes in Atlanta.

And remember that Hollywood Style “Hottest Couple” award Paul and Nina won back in October? Tonight’s People’s Choice Awards broadcast aired a (super, super-brief) “thank you” video with Paul and Nina.
