Are we being spoiled by the CW, or just mercilessly taunted with new episodes only a few days away? Either way, TVGuide.com has a second webclip from The Vampire Diaries Season 5 premiere, I Know What You Did Last Summer, with Bonnie and Jeremy somewhat heartbreakingly keeping up Bonnie’s charade.

I love Bonnie! The show wouldn’t be the same without her. Please don’t stay dead all season Bonnie. I mean they brought Jeremy back and I’m really happy about that because again he like Bonnie is a big reason why the show is so great. I’m nervous because what are the chances they’d bring her back as well? Can’t help it Bonnie is my favourite female character on the show and I want her back hanging out for real with her best friends Caroline and Elena enjoying College life. Love when the girls used to hang out being best friends, laughing and having fun. Besides, Bonnie is the best witch ever. Lets face it without Bonnie always saving everyone. They’d all be lost without her. What’s the deal with Elena? doesn’t she realize the friend she grew up with has been gone for a long time. That’s just so wrong. I also had hopes one day that Bonnie and Damon would hook up. Two hotties like them should be so exciting to watch.

I still have a feeling she would be back!!! Don’t worry!!!

I asked myself the same question Caroline and Elena both have professed that Bonnie is there best friend, so why would it be normal to go through a whole summer without seeing or speaking to that person either by phone or Skype. Especial if you have done so in the past. Of course when they do find out Elena is going to try and figure out a way to bring her back as Caroline will. It just seems like they should at least have feeling something is up, I mean your worried about Stefan why wouldn’t you do the same for Bonnie.

Bonnie looks good. She seems to be in a good place, even happy. Maybe she has accepted her death status-maybe for her the other side is not so bad, possibly not as bad as vamps have experienced. Let’s face it, s4 was very rough for her, i hope she has found some peace.

I’m very interested to find out why Caroline needed her back stat. What’s happening at the college?

I don’t think the fact that she’s dead has fully hit her yet, I think there will be some sad scenes coming up for Bonnie :(

I really love Beremy and as heart-breaking as this storyline with Bonnie being a ghost is, I still find it to be the most compelling of this new season so far. I really want to see where it goes and how far everyone goes trying to bring her back.

Nobody’s ever fully happy…but I have high hopes that in general, this will be a good season for Bonnie (after her disaster that is s4). Her relationship with jer will continue to be good, she will have some sad moments but in general I think she will accept being on the other side, she will save her friends a few more times and maybe even find a way back to being human. Like Stefan, I have high hopes that she will be changed, for the better.

I believe you are onto something…I had read that this “other side” storyline gives them the capability to move between different dimensions as oppose to just one they currently operate in today. Looks like Bonnie has spent the entire summer covering up her death and not exploring these various dimensions…but when she does it should get very interesting…places she could go (past/future), the people she meets up with, the powers they posses….a lot of possibilities, we will see how far they go with this new and exciting storyline.

Just another thought…traveling past / future…could this give us a deeper insight into the Salvatore brothers…for example Damon how she may have misjudged him, Stefan during his ripper years…or finding out Katherine really has a heart…

  • Jessica

I love that idea, my fear is like with most Bonnie storylines they have great potential but then come up short on the delivery (just my thought)

With that being said I am happy that Bonnie is no longer the “witch” trying to fix everything, I like the fact she has no power. I hope the writers go in your direction, and take this time to have her learn about the Salvatores explore the “other side” and then find a way to come back to the land of the living.

    Agree…it’s bon-bon’s turn to shine…:-)
