Looks like Creation Entertainment has been busy booking guests! All three currently scheduled conventions (Chicago, San Francisco and Parsippany, N.J.) now have their own pages on Creation’s site and actors penciled in to attend.

For the San Francisco convention (July 28-29, 2012) they’ve added Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley and Zach Roerig to the guest list.

For the Parsippany, N.J. event (August 18-19, 2012), Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley, Zach Roerig and Steven R. McQueen are scheduled to appear.

We’re also getting ever closer to TVD Chicago (April 14-15, 2012). Gold ticket packages are almost sold out for the Chicago event, so if you’re planning to get one, act soon. As always, we’ll keep you posted with more info on additional guests as it becomes available.

Will they ever come to Ohio? :( Columbus, OH…

I have a question, and I was hoping someone who had been to one of the other Creation Conventions could help me figure out the answer.

If we buy a Gold ticket, we get autographs will all of the actors in attendance, right? I’m a little confused because the Gold package lists autographs as a benefit, but then the website also advertises autograph tickets for $60 each. Can anyone clear that up for me, maybe if you went to the Nashville convention and had a Gold ticket?

    Thanks!

I did the Gold package for Nashville, and it included one autograph per guest. The individual autograph tickets are there for people who aren’t buying a package that includes autographs, or who want more than one thing signed by a particular actor. I talk a little bit about the package value at the end of my review of the Nashville event, you can read about it here, that might help clear things up:

Thank you for helping me out! I looked at your review, thank you so much for posting it. It’s one of the reasons I decided to pay the $300 for this con…I did not want to pay so much money and attend a poor convention.

I have just one more annoying question. It’s one autograph per person per actor with the gold package, right?

It’s not annoying at all! I’m happy to answer any questions I can. You’re correct – one autograph per person per actor, and remember to bring something for the actor to sign. Creation sells official merchandise on-site (photos, bags, t-shirts, etc), or you can bring something with you to the con to have signed. If you wanted two signatures from a particular actor (like having Ian sign a photo AND a t-shirt) you’d need to purchase an extra autograph ticket.
